Most early 20s guys who work out and do some form of sport have a TDEE over 4000kcal granted they aren't manlets.

Genetics are a big factor, I know plenty of guys who don't lift and still look pretty muscular.

How many times do they train per week?

This is me. Played ice hockey and worked out like 7-10 times every week. Comfortable 155-165 lbs eating like a mad man. Quit hockey and gained like 50 lbs in less than a year, only fat. Highest was like 255 lbs at 5'9. Currently at 238 trying to get that athleticism back. Mind you I have some muscles. I will make it.

Depends how intensive your sport is. I play rugby and manage 3 sessions a week usually but if training and matches are tough it's often just twice.

When i played rugby in highschool i rarely worked out during the season, I'd maybe get in a upper body day a week but never hit legs. During the off season i was doing a 5 day upper lower split

I was in a frat in college. I got bids from multiple, really not that impressive as greek life isn't as full of chads as everyone thinks. There are some stereotypical frat bros though and they are most definitely on roids, they'd even talk about it openly

Been training 6-7 days a week for like 1-2 years now and it's okay, as long as you have varying workouts. Currently doing boxing (with lots of muscle endurance drills) on mo/fr/sa, 2xlifting (full body routine) on tue/thu and running on wednesday and/or sunday.
Boxing for ~1.5h high intensity, lifting ~1h, running 15-90min, depending on how fit I feel.

Still feasible at higher age, too. Oneof the dudes in my sports club is 47 and still goes 5x per week regularly (not heavy lifting though, rather high rep muscle endurance and cardio stuff)..

alcohol fucks with your blood sugar levels. Alcoholics are generally only hungry for dinner, they have a pretty wide window for fasting.
This only works while you are young though, serious drinking will catch up with you.

That routine would leave me overtrained for sure. I do 3x lifting (fullbody) with a core workout on mo/wed/fr ~ 1.5h and on tue/thu i jump rope for 40 minutes. saturday i walk for 1 hour and on sunday i just rest. I need those two days of recovery or i just dont wake up for work.
ive been doing this for 3 months, and im pretty happy with it.

maybe just maybe being healthy helps your body process alcohol with less damage?
