Anyone else here suffering from sweet tooth? I have literally been crazy after sweets all my life. I'm in my late 20s and even though I have managed to stay lean all my life its mentally challenging not to eat a shit ton of sweets all day. The only reason Im not doing it is because I don't want to lose my abs but some days I unironically think sweets are the only thing that can make me happy. Every few weeks I just binge eat the shit out of sweets, cakes etc.. Sometimes I even had to throw up the next day because I ate so much. I don't think I'll ever lose it.

you might be diabetic user
do you get headaches from lack of sweets?
Grow some fucking balls, and have some self determination. I started going to gym and stopped eating shit. When I look at sweets or fast food, I have a gag reflex. I am not putting that shit in my mouth anytime soon.
Im not diabetic. I can rule that one out 100%.
No, I never get headaches.
You've been eating too much sugar. Your body is craving it because you're literally addicted. It's not so bad that you can't get over it with just good old fashioned willpower. I'd be worried about your teeth too.
>Grow some fucking balls, and have some self determination. I started going to gym and stopped eating shit.
Can't you read or something? Ive been an athlete all my life and managed to stay lean but all Im saying is its fucking painful. Those cravings never went away for me even after weeks of not eating carbs when I had to make weight for competitons. That actually made it worse.
The overgrowth of shit-tier bacteria and fungi in your gut are craving sugar. Keep feeding them user.
Interesting, Is that a real thing? How long does it take for them to go away? Whenever I had to make weight for competitions I went weeks with barely eating any carbs and that usually made it worse.
its all mental
you just have to consciously decide you are not going to allow sweets to enter into your mouth
it's all on you
That's what I've been doing but sadly it never gets easier. I guess I'll have to live with it .
Maybe I have this shit fiercebiotech.com
Very real. Here, have some book learning ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Thanks, thats interesting.
If you are not diabetic and just have bad self control, switch to protein bars, if I have a really bad craving for sweets I just eat one of those fuckers.
Same. My mom has type 2 diabetes but I’m apparently clean. I swear to god though I can’t even go into the candy isle
At the end of the day I won’t stop drinking a glass of wine every other day and eating chips with a cream cheese based dip every friday. With a splatter of sodas beers and what have you’s in between. I’m healthy enough as is without giving up my guilty pleasures
It’s why I still masturbate 4-5 times a week despite daily sex
A paper pooped up on my pubmed alerts the other day. Apparently high inulin diets curb sweet cravings and to a lesser extent salty cravings. I bought some inulin powder and sure enough it works with 10g per day.
I used to be like that as a kid. Parents bought candy maybe once a week and it was the highlight of the week. Also at that time I thought that when I'm an adult I'll buy as much candy as I want.
Then I became an adult and a few times bought a shitload of candy. Ate about a handfull and realized it tastes like shit now. Also it made my body feel like shit. After that just threw the rest away or gave them away. Fell into that a couple of times but now I don't really even get the cravings.
Now I might buy a tub of ben&jerrys cinnamon bun every few months and I'll eat like at least 5 times from that one tub.
Weird enough I don’t really like sweets. My weakness is more like a super burrito or a combo pizza. I’ll never waste calories on a snickers or a cake but put a pizza in front of me and I have to have a slice. To get around this I just don’t buy them. Luckily people only bring in doughnuts to work which I don’t even like that much.
I am still like this, but you can trick yourself by getting the sweetness elsewhere. I personally drink a diet coke or other diet soft drink when I'm really craving candy
You don't "suffer from sweet tooth", it's not a fucking genetic disease, it just means you have very low self-control and eat like a fat retard.
Can you please tell me how I have little self control if I have sweet cravings without actually eating them? Are you retarded? It happens a few times a year I actually eat them. Have you even read my posts? I stay fit regardless.
I thought that was a sponge in the thumbnail
>suffering from sweet tooth
looks like someone's addicted to a substance and needs help
won't find that help here
Where does one get inulin powder?
Replace sweets with fruits. Much healthier and fructose is processed as a toxin in the body so. Be healthy man.
So ehy do we shit on fatties when their task of limiting food may be several times harder due to physiological reasons?
It's like making fun of the crippled kid
the best thing you can do is get some coke/sprite ZERO and fruits
i drink sprite zero all day, like 4-6 liters a day
i also eat fruits like grapes, blueberries, raspberries, strawberrys and blackberries
no apples, pears, bananas etc cause each one is 100cal but the small fruits pack TONS of filling fiber and taste great
after eating fruits for a few days and drinking a diet cola you will get over the sweet tooth craving
also keep some dark chocolate eg lindtt in your fridge and nibble on that eg 1/16th of the bar a day and it tastes so good
after a few days drinking regular cola or sweet candy will taste "too sweet" and not very good
this is the way
also a bowl of cereal every now and then wont hurt
eg once or twice a week
cereal is sugar candy but every once in a while i have a bowl of raisin bran
when i measure it out it comes to 1000cal because thats how cereal is but its okay and fills my super carb sugar craving for a while
tfw you've got a huge box full of candy leftover from last halloween and you can't eat it since you eat no carbs.
feels bad man.
>babbys first addiction
That's nice dear
Do you belive you have some special kind of metabolism or that your genetics somehow drive you to this?
This is sugar addiction, you'll get over it once you admit to yourself that you are a slave of your habit and restraining from it for about a week.
Fructose is shit though.
>that you are a slave of your habit
Which habit is that? Are you fucking mongs illiterate or something?
The habit of buying sugary things and then complaining you eat so much of them dear. All bad things begin in the convinience store already. You eating what you buy is not the problem, rather it's buying what you eat.
As you know, if you don't have something you cannot consume it.
