Yeeesssss. Die for Israe... er freeedommm.
If you don't have any plans for your future then yes, if you do than dont
It all really depends on what YOU what to be
If you're like 70 IQ and literally can't do anything else in the world, then go join the fucking military yeah
What this goy said
This
You won't be fighting for anything you'd like to
Just wait for the shit to break down and we can all finally let our bloodlust free on the human cancer that infests this world
well its better than being homeless and jobless
Navy is pretty comfy although I got lucky with my job and contract. Being 22 with your own apartment and making around 4200 dollars a month is pretty cool. Plus you can take college courses while you're in.
Just go with the Reserves if you're unsure of full time
Just go coast guard. Same thing but you'll never actually get deployed to some Afghan shit hole
being in the army could potentially be very comfy in the next decade or so if you enjoy putting down civil riots
if you have to ask, probably not
The trick is to move to a rural village that is mostly homogenous, far away from major cities, but at the same time not too far. That way when people flood out of the cities in the millions because they've lost all the support they need to survive (food shipments, etc.) people will flood out of them and you can gun them down as they come. Choose carefully though, too close and you might get overwhelmed by the sheer number of people, too far away and you might not see much action.
i dont get this meme. is there a punchline?
NO YOU FUCKING FAG. DONT FUCKING DO IT YOU DOUCHEBAG. IF YOU ONLY EVER TAKE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE FROM Jow Forums, MAKE IT THIS: DONT JOIN THE MILITARY
t. army
The overwhelming majority of military jobs are non-combative support roles.
Fuck off back to Jow Forums
>american military
>early 20th centurty, die to fuck up europe
>mid 20th century, die to ensure the wrong side wins
>late 20th century, die to fuck up some hut villages
>early 21st century, die to fuck up some mud brick villages
>israel pulling the strings the entire time
NO user DO NOT JOIN THE MILITARY
>he didn't master the asvat
Or not die and get college paid for while doing a regular job but overseas (maybe even in this country)
Do you want to invade other countries in the name of gay rights?
True. But we are still fighting in the middle east for interests that are not ours.
Post body
why would u even talk people out of going to the military? if no one volunteers than you get voluntold aka draft. by buying literally anything in america, youre likely supporting shareholders that dont hold the same interests in you either. do you stop buying american products?
join the air force if you do join a branch, assuming you're American. It's the easiest boot camp and you don't have to autistically refer to everyone above you as their rank then name, just say yes sir/ma'am. Don't go Security Forces (Military police) unless you're literally brain dead and like to rape people, because that's the culture over there. Maintenance deploys a lot, so if you don't want the possibility of going over seas stay away from that. Medical and the Aerial Port are some safe areas, so is Services and Personnel, comms, most of the stuff in the air force is support based and not on the front lines doin' shit.
israel is always in need of more foreskins go for it
Marine Corp maintainence got it
Go airforce and enjoy ez living and not dying
The fat fuck doing clerical work a thousand miles from an enemy will still expect the same amount of civilian dick sucking as a bullet catcher.
If you decide on a branch just make sure the job you choose can translate to a civilian job when you get out. If you're looking to gain trade skills the Navy seabees or the Airforce's redhorse are good picks, learn welding, HVAC and actual real world skills. Did 4 deployments building schools overseas and shit for the seals to blow up before missions was fun.
Depends Kiddo,
Theres alot to be said about joining the military, some people look at it like a cop out of facing the reality, some people look at it as a way out of the black hole that is their small town, some people lose direction in their lives and think it can give you structure, some people think anyone who joins the military is some government slave.. etc.. etc..
I Joined 8 Years ago, I will tell you I've met alot of good and bad people, I've heard alot of stories as to why people joined. I've heard alot of why people left. The question is to you, what are you looking for, because like with Jow Forums what you put in is what you get out. The military has alot of benefits to practical society and alot of flaws that come with the duties of the job, and this is more dependent on the "Job" you pick in the military as well as the branch.
I've grown alot as a person since I joined the military, I was 17 fresh out of high school with no direction smart but lazy. Now 25, with 6 months till I end my enlistment, I've had alot of highs and lows. I've learned how to effectively manage and lead people around me effectively, I've met people from all walks of life and I think I'm openminded to alot of what the world is made up and the opinions people share. The military teaches you the value of hard work, and also how much just "doing your job" can sometimes be the bare minimum. You learn that as shitty as the times may be when your out on deployment, when you are having a fucked up time with some other people you build a sense of comradery like no other. The military can give you structure, it can give you lifelongs friends, it can by the hand teach you how to manage your finances, it can help you support a family, it can help you buy your first home, it can teach you detailed technical work of you choice ( The greatest choice you will pick in your career is at the begining, specifically what your job, you should aim for an intel job)
Go and browse Jow Forums bro, there's an enlistment general with everything you need to know.
If I was American, I'd only join if the country was attacked directly.
There are alot of cons to the job,
The Hours, Deployments for months away from America, Losing friends from combat, suicide, or their time is up, being locked in a contract and unable to quit the job if you don't like it. And I'm sure there is more.
But, I won't lie to you fren, It teaches you temperament, how to take an ass chewing and walk away like a man, how to cope with ludicrous amount of bull shit speeches and training and being around people you cant fucking stand. And that shit my man, will take you far as fuck wherever you go, it doesn't even include all the on job experience you are gonna have. As well as, how you get promoted in the military is totally on you, hey you can suck people off all day to get the best Evaluation, but, if you work hard and do all you can to move forward through the ranks, you can easily make rank quickly.
And when you think it's time to get out, Thousands of companies love hiring veterans, you will have the VA do what they can for you, and you have get a G.I Bill that can help pay for your college should you choose so when you get out, or you can give it to your wife or your children.
The militaries structural organization is making a major change in the coming and past few years. It's shifted away from the military gun ho leadership style to more of a corporate management style system, but the basis for success is still there. Just less intensive with everything other then combat roles.
I wish you the best should you decide to answer the call.
My personnel Rating system for the Armed Forces
Coast Gaurd = Best
Air Force
Navy/Marines
Army =Worst
Based on how they treat their people, the duty stations you can go to around the world, the overall level of comfort offered, the dangers of the job, and the technical prowess they can give you.
Is the national guard any good m8? Looking to join, dont want to get deployed tho
To be honest the comments I've heard about the national gaurd, kind of make them out as a bunch of goofs hanging out not really doing much.
I'm not gonna say, they are bad, I don't have the knowledge to say that, also I kept them off the list because of that.
If you wanna Join a Branch that doesnt get deployed I would reccomend the Coast Gaurd or Air force, I got my Older Sister to join the Coast Gaurd and her first 3 years were spent workin 9AM to 3PM with after 1PM being partying down at the beach at the base in puerto rico. Shes Logictics
The Air force can still be sent overseas, but they have a fuck ton of bases and duties within the Conus United States. The Coast Gaurd specifically stay in the united states except for drug operation in the Gulf of Mexico.
Also, if you don't mind me asking why don't you want to be deployed?
Because fuck the middle east user, honestly I wouldnt mind going out of the country and even to bases around the world but i dont want to go to a shithole and die
And also dont want to be gone from my family for too long
this guy is 100 percent right
t. navy
Don't join the marines. Join the army, navy, airforce, whatever. You get free college, don't have to pay for rent or food, get free plat credit cards and a bunch of discounts. It's worth it.
No i'm not a recruiter
Go Coast Gaurd of Air force buddy, unlike the army, marines, and navy, they like to make you wait and take long times to respond for you to join since they know they are the best.
I cannot gaurentee, in the air force you won't go to the middle east. But, it's not what it's all chalked up to be. forgot the MSM. Combat right now, is actually fairly tame and theres not alot of crazy shit going on, trust me.
Do yourself a favor, pick up an asvab study guide online or as a book. Put in the time and effort to learning all you can, pick the branch you want and go to their recruiters office or call or email them. you gotta get ahold of them. Then take the test, and don't mention you dont wnana get deployed or that you want an easy job, Just say you want something technically detailed, computers, analytics, logistics, crypto, Aviation. And I'm sure you will be fine.
I'm considering doing it but only because I have a bachelor's already and they'd give me all sorts of benefits on top of paying for further education.
BUT IF YOU WANNA RIDE THE FUCKING LIGHTNING, IF YOU WANNA GO BALLS TO THE WALL, BE BAT SHIT CRAZY WITH A PACK OF DOGS LIKE MENTALITY AND BECOME INDOCTRINATED TO BE A FUCKING THREAT TO ANY AND ALL WHO CHALLENGE YOU, JOIN THE MUTHA FUCKING MARINES. FUCK ALL THE PUSSY SHIT, YOU WANT TO GO IN FUCKING HOT AND HEAVY AND MERC SOME SCARF HEADS EYEBALLS WITH YOUR 12 INCH DICK OF LEAD, BY GOD. JOIN THOSE CRAYON EATING CRAZY FUCKING MARINES. (specifically anything combat related, or try to be SWCC or a SEAL in the navy)
Go navy, get a SO contract, 8 weeks boot, 12 weeks prep, buds then sqt and boom ur a seal easy as that
Yeah, but only if you like turning the middle east gay.
Research the officer programs, if you have a degree, maximize your potential with joining.
I don't like officers, but it's in your best interest.
Does gyno DQ at meps?
Have you ever been to oki?
Just join the army bro it'll be fun bro.
Do you want a 19 y/o wife that is going to regularly cheat on you? Do you want to buy a camaro with 12% APR? Do you really, really hate leg day? Do you want to be scared of fireworks for the rest of your life? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the army might be for you.
>picking a combat mos
Imagine being this retarded
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, IS THIS REAL?
I remember watching that very video the dog pic is from, he talks about squat form.
WTF????
(Ch)Air Force reporting in
It's a mixed bag and it heavily depends on where you are in your life. I joined as a 19 year old with no direction at all in his life. I can now say at 21 that I for the most part have my shit together. Am working towards a degree, am saving up money, working out a lot, have some good bros, met some girls, basically a lot of things my old life was missing.
That being said, let me tell you about how easy a trap the military is. You will receive a lot of benefits to take advantage of, but you yourself will be taken advantage of. I know a lot of guys who were ridden raw, they have fucked up backs, knees, etc. and it is for the most part irreparable damage. Most of them don't get taken care of when they decide to get out of the military. They hardly get taken care of while they are still in. No one holds a gun to your head to progress your career/skills, so if you're a lazy sack of shit you simply will ride out your enlistment and be forced to re-enlist. Don't be that guy. A lot of people say they don't have time to do shit, the reality is you have to make time for anything you want to achieve. Basically the point of this long ass paragraph is to let you know the military is trying to get you to suckle it's tit forever because it needs bodies. It wants you to stay in, and a lot of the shit that will happen to you is designed to keep you reliant on the system. If you're lazy, its very easy to get stuck in forever. If you take initiative, by the end of your enlistment you'll have the option to get out or stay in. That is the position you want to be in if you decide to join.
Lastly, like I said I have met total bros. I have also met crabs. If you don't know what a crab is, google crab mentality. There are tons and tons of guys and girls in the military that hate their lives or are perfectly content with getting stuck in the system, and they'll try to keep you down to their level. Do not let them, do not hang out with crabs.
Yep. Got his legs and balls blown off.
Why is the army generally considered the worst? I'm thinking about going 13R.
Army is absolutely massive, I would say it should be judged on a case by case basis since they have so many things under their MOS. Just don't pick something on the frontlines. I'd also say there is no point in going Army/Muhrines if you don't want combat. Might as well pick a more cushy branch.
wtf?! WTF?!
For fucking... AFGHANISTAN?!
WTF?!
>just wait for the shit to break down
Yeah just sit on your hands waiting around for something to happen. Fucking millennials
Every militart thread ever
>something something dying 4 izrael implying all jobs are combat oriented
>chucklefuck comparing the 4 main branches, leaving out the coast guard
>retards who picked army 11B only to shittalk it because it wasn’t the cakewalk they expected
>that one smart user suggesting the coast guard as a choice
Yep it's tragic how the US military complex has brainwashed Americans into throwing their lives away for profit.
Just took the asvab and got a 99
What should I do
I got a 90 and my options were limited to what was available (navy)
>nuclear submarine stuff
>intelligence
I chose the second one but ended up cancelling on the whole thing.
Do not join the military.
Is 35 too old of the military?
>military
>all jobs ARE combat oriented
>you're in the military, dumbass
You'll never avoid the fight for israel argument, bootlicker jew
Give me ONE reason not to join navy.
yea dude go die for israel in some shithole in the desert so you can ensure a long history of coups and oil wars will keep going
you clearly have never been in the military user. All jobs ARE NOT combat oriented.
You’ll become gayer
>Nobody speaking in favor of the military in this thread is actually discussing what its deployment across the world accomplishes
>No mention of specific improvements to anyone's way of life domestically or in foreign countries
>Treating it like just another wageslave job
>But it's a job you can't quit before your enlistment period is up without criminal repercussion that may get you killed or irreparably damaged and may see you killing other people
>Even if you don't participate in the violence firsthand you are part of a machine whose entire purview is founded on violence
>Refusing an order on moral grounds is risky as there is no guarantee your peers will agree with your reasoning
>Cannot truly control what your contribution to this machine will be
For all that the military will not accept anyone with an IQ below 83 and in fact generally only accepts people with an above average IQ, the contents of this thread still strongly suggest you are either indoctrinated to the point of being useless for critical thought or somehow broken as human beings. Why hasn't anyone actually discussed the overall impact of the wars the US is waging and how what they've done has contributed to that impact? Jesus.
He's actually right, the navy has the highest rate of male-on-male sexual assault and rape in all of the armed forces per a 2006 study. I'd site a more recent study but none has been released to the public. It's easy to find the one I'm referencing if you google it.
>You'll never avoid the fight for israel argument, bootlicker jew
Yup, enforcing maritime law in US waters and saving American lives in US waters is unfortunately helping “”them””. You’re so smart user, you have all the answers stay woke fren!
Don’t listen to the retards saying only if you’re stupid or have no ambition.
This is based on the US military system. Personally I ship out for USMC basic this fall. I plan on going 5811 MP as of right now and law enforcement in the civilian sector afterwards.
1. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery gauges your skill sets and tells you what you qualify for in the military. There are plenty of jobs that require a lot of intelligence to perform. You’ll actually be surprised by the variety of jobs too.
2. You don’t get to choose where you go or who we’re fighting. That’s up to CoC and our government. But the military will teach you invaluable lessons on courage, commitment, honor, pride, etc. They literally pay you to work out too and you’re damn well sure they’ll get their money’s worth training you too. You’ll come out the other end a better person mentally, emotionally and physically.
ah blow it out your ass
Fuck no. The military will fuck you over and treat you like shit.
If you have no other option of leaving your shithole town or your garbage family, yea. If you're just bored and don't want to do homework...lol.
t. 7 years Army
MPs are gay
>Why hasn't anyone actually discussed the overall impact of the wars the US is waging and how what they've done has contributed to that impact?
It has little to do with the price of eggs.
>"Don’t listen to the retards saying only if you’re stupid or have no ambition."
>hasnt even joined yet
>I plan on going MP
Were you born a faggot, or did a priest have to fuck you first?
Agents of the state.so no
