Try using HST for one cycle, even if only for your squat. It's not the fastest, but it's virtually impossible to plateau on HST.
Short version:
Weeks 1-2: 2*20
Weeks 2-4: 3*15
Weeks 5-6: 3*10
Weeks 7-8: 3*5
3x week/EOD
The idea is to start the cycle in the 20+ rep range and gradually decrease reps and increase weight over about 8 weeks. I don't fully understand how it works myself, but it works.
Do at about 30 minutes of cardio every day. Ideally, do it at least four hours apart from lifting to minimize its effect on recovery. I.E. Run in the morning, lift in the evening. Count calories, and keep carbs low. Like 60-100g carbs a day. Just enough to avoid ketosis because ketosis is catabolic and will make you feel weak. You only need approximately 0.7g protein per lb of lean mass for optimal MPS, but it can be beneficial to go as high as 1.5g per lb when maintaining muscle on a deficit is your goal. Also consider a higher rep and frequency routine, like a typical 3*8-12 PPL or 6 day upper/lower split. Intermittent fasting is also helpful. One meal around noon and one around 6pm works really well for me. Good middle ground, easy to maintain. Keeps you from feeling hungry on a deficit, easy to stick to after the first 3-4 days of adjustment.

Sort of. Shorter arms are an advantage with OHP. It doesn't really mean anything though. Don't forget your face pulls/rows though. It's really, really easy to fuck up your shoulder, even without ever having any accidents or trauma.

Now planking is genuinely completely fucking worthless unless you are extremely weak. If you can plank for one minute, it's time to move on.
Look for “athlean x 7 minute ab workout“ on youtube, it's fantastic. Any ab routine actually worth doing will look similar to this.

If you bend over lower and pull more towards your chest instead of stomach then yes they are pretty much the same thing. Do this at a minimum. I'd also suggest doing some rotator cuff stretches and exercises regularly. Those are harder to explain but youtube is full of examples.
