ITT We talk about inflammation and the best ways to reduce it. Is it true that fasting lowers inflammation substantially? That dry fasting almost completely neutralizes it? And carbs drive inflammation?
If so, it seems like eating carnivore and making your eating frequency as low as possible would be the best way to fight inflammation, right?

I take a turmeric supplement, it does a lot of good things for you including reduction in inflammation
I used to drink golden milk, but now I'm starting to think all sugar should be avoided.
just use Ibuprofen dood
I have no idea why you replied to me and wtf sugar has to do with a turmeric supplement.
My bad I just looked up golden milk, no user I mean I take a pill form of a turmeric supplement. No sugar. Sorry about that I didn't know wtf golden milk was.
Golden milk is a drink made by blending milk with turmeric powder and cinnamon. Sometimes you add sugar and warm it over a stove while you mix the ingredients. It's quite delicious and supposed to be very healthy for you, cinnamon is also an anti-inflammatory. My post was just a tangential comment to yours, dairy has sugar in it which is why I stopped drinking golden milk.
All good. You might want to try it, it really is a tasty af drink.
Take baby aspirin.
this is true
youre going to hate this, op, everyone, etc
vegans eat 20% less protein
but they have 14% higher blood protein levels
this is because their inflamation is reduced so much that the liver can produce protein at a better rate
so if you could somehow be vegan and eat good protein and fat, youd be peak
vegans also have 11% higher testosterone because they eat more fiber
inflammation is required for hypertrophy aka muscle growth.
Fag
The only time your body is not inflamed is when you're not eating. Everything you put into your body is always going to have a negative effect on inflammation. Do you understand this? There is no magical spice, no magical food, no magical cure. There's only not eating.
No one said turmeric is a "magical spice" but it IS clinically proven to cut inflammation among other things.

You'll still be inflamed.
Vegans also tend to look sickly, pale, and frail. That alone tells me the diet is wack. Sorry, not going to consider it.
Yes, but you have to eat at some point. So when you eat you should try and eat foods that drive inflammation as little as possible.
>vegans also have 11% higher testosterone because they eat more fiber
Sage. Completely bullshit
>the weird basedboy hipsters i see that live in cities, don't play sports or excercise and don't go outside look weak and pale
its almost like they dont lift or get sun
ive been vegan for 3 years (like historically, im not before) and i definitely had my joints feel better/better energy . i only stopped bc life events made it hard to eat at all.
I've had really painful hip tendinitis for the past year and over the last month or so I've been actually eating a lot more. The tendinitis has almost totally cleared up
literally every statement in this post is a blatant lie. OP you are pretty much spot on.
At some points sure, but you will have healed by that point.
It may help in some instances, either by removing deleterious compounds found in food or by relieving intestinal distress (though food is virtually required to stimulate the bowel), but the long term energy deficit and its depressive effect on cellular respiration and regeneration is no doubt more harmful than whatever harmful oxidation occurs in the body. If you have a lot of fat to lose in particular it can be very dangerous as the elevation of serum FFA is were everything goes wrong, especially when you eat no amino acids to support the liver.
