At what point did you start taking lifting seriously?

At what point did you start taking lifting seriously?

I'm 18 190lbs 6'4 been lifting for 6 months and am currently at 115/205/295/315. Just bought my first "serious" gear like lifting shoes. Curious as to when yall went from just fucking around in the gym to really taking your training seriously.

fucking autist, can't do anything for fun, they need to min max everything, stay incel

OP here, not a virgin. Also not sure how calling an 18 y/o an incel is an insult seeing that it’s totally normal to still be a virgin at that age.

Additionally I enjoy my time in the gym much more than when I didn’t follow a routine and still play basketball after working out to cool down and bc it’s fun

He's just trying to get under your skin. Good on you for trying to improve yourself. Don't let the losers on this site give you any drag.

lmao, it is not normal to be a virgin @ 18, lay off the Jow Forums

don't listen to the other outists like tracking, measuring and counting shit meticulously is the hallmark of autism, do yourself a favor while it is not too late

Useless little dyel
Post body. I need to laugh

Ok retard, here’s your last (You) , and thank you for bumping my thread

>He's better than me so he's an INCEL REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Ever since I moved out of my parents house and went to uni. That's when I started having a clue what I needed to do in the gym and when I could just buy and cook my own food.

The day I stopped doing SS and deadlifts was the day I started taking my long term health and attractiveness seriously.

I never did SS I just began immediately with an intermediate routine I found on Jow Forums lol. Deadlifts can be scary so I feel you on that. I initially hit 295 very quickly but dropped back in weight after a friend coached me into proper form. hit 315 tonight trying out the lifting shoes for the first time so I'm hyped.
I'm still living at home but I feel you on that. Suddenly you have to become an adult and you can completely create your own schedule and diet.

pic related is the pair of lifting shoes I got. would recommend
