Yeah, you need to give them a push to eat more things. My sperg brother used to be like that, but started trying new things when he realised not being able to eat anything that wasn't prepared at home would nuke his social life even more. His tolerance to a lot of things gradually built up and now he can eat at least one meal pretty much anywhere.

You have to realize that it differentiates between genetically predisposed autism, which represents the majority of autism, and developmental autisim which was the kind they suppose is affected by something like gut bacteria.
