that's why i just leg press and leg curl hee hee

Imagine wanting to get strong and having a crippling fear of pain

The fear isn't crippling, the lifts are.

what is the point of being strong if your back is fucked? you wouldn't be able to do shit even if you ignore the pain

my dad used to deadlift hard AF and squat hard too, and his back is just fine. What if you're just a faggot?

life itself gives me pain, squats at least give me gainz

Attached: y3IfnN0.jpg (2048x1726, 138K)

your father is a huge faggot squatting with 50kg saying it is hard lmao i would be ashamed of a father like that

nice anecdotal evidence you stupid faggot

the greater the sacrifice the greater the gains.

>aaahh yeah i love those big muscles duuude. healthy back? good bones? who the fuck cares i prefer my big motherfucking muscles

Attached: 1552631627932.gif (413x243, 51K)

Then go out and beat everyone's ass that squats and deadlifts heavy as fuck, it should be easy right?

yes it would. give a few years and they wont be doing normal shit anymore since their backs will be fucked

You'll never lose a fight if you just wait for everyone else to die of old age, haha :)

Why do you insist on this meme exercise? how is squating with 200kg on your back natural and the deadlift that doesn't even look like a exercise.
Old people often have backpain and don you think doing those exercises will just accelerate the whole thing? at 30 or 40 you're already fucked up and even if you stop then and go to the medic your back will never be the same. but NO big muscles are so good hahaha i love big muscles lol i love bodybuilders as well they are my idol!! i get so sad when some of them die because of roids :((( i admire them so much look at that back and leg muscle dude hhnng i am totally not gay

Only if you let your ego lead you to lifting more than you can handle.

This thread started with anecdotal evidence faggot

it is jut common sense

not if you use the right form and right weight

Why don't you pick something heavy off the ground and ask yourself your question again.

Hey, how about you listen to what experts say abt these exercises rather than argue with spergs who don’t know what they’re talking about. Half the guys on Jow Forums go to the gym once a week and press 65lbs with half reps

Front squats with proper form don’t create back pain you stupid frogposter

My only back pain ever was from my female co-worker punching me. If you're not doing a lift correctly then you're probably going to hurt yourself, and lifting through the pain is probably going to accelerate that, just like boxing despite multiple concussions will fuck you up. That doesn't mean you don't try, only someone with zero lifting intelligence is going to fuck their back up permanently from training to squat 150kg.

do you really think with the perfect form the weights are all going to the muscles only? fuck off faggot the bones are feeling them too and they will get damaged with time

Common sense is wrong most of the time.

Weight training has some of the lowest injury rates of any sports whether it's at the recreational or professional level. My back and knees are great after squatting heavy for over 10 years, but I have a friend who's had 3 surgerys from playing football at the recreational level. Tennis has more injuries than lifting weights ffs

injury and back pain is just genetics

So this is what happens when Jow Forums autists try to crab bucket Jow Forumsizens. Cute.

Correct squats and deadlifts are an extremely effective treatment of back pain: startingstrength.com/article/back-pain-and-back-strength

I have slipped discs. I can deadlift 516 x 5 and squat 445 x 5 and have zero back pain, ever.

OP confirmed DYEL weakling. Good luck never making it you pussy ass faggot. Too pussy to do hard compound exercises, huh?

most of you don't even lift i also rarely come here because you all say garbage. You can't learn anything here you are all stupid faggots

>muh making it
when i see those words i can just imagine the fat trash or skeleton subhuman that worship other people body behind the pc
Truly pathetic all of you

Sure, if you fuck up like I did today
>deadlifting at gym
>start losing grip
>decide to come down with it instead of dropping the bar
>hinge at the hips instead of bending my legs
>feel a pull in my low back
>immediately unload the bar and go home
i'm hurting a bit but i think i'll live

Yet here you are.

>when i see those words i can just imagine the fat trash or skeleton subhuman

I'm 225 lbs and 19% bf (bulking) you faggot

amazing species

This post is true. Literally all of the threads I posted in were troll threads

Did you use chalk?

Did you hook grip?

If you answer "no" to either question, you're a moron and it's your own fault.

Did I blame anyone but myself?
Anyway I left my chalk at home and never hook gripped before

>Anyway I left my chalk at home and never hook gripped before

So start hook gripping on your work sets.

I can only conventional 190 kg for a single rep, but I can hook grip 234 kg x 5.

Used to have bad back pain (Standing up straight for several minutes would cause me serious uncomfort.

Deadlifting fixed that right up.

Of course lifting 600 lbs frequently will mess something up, but staying around 3-4 plate should be good.

if you want to beat those people up just take MMA, don't even have to lift

This I’m 30 and been lifting for years with no back pain. I typically don’t go past about 3.5 plates though with squat and dead. Feels like I could snap my shit up going heavier.

i can lift heavy OK (200-230 KG deadlifts for reps)

BUT I CANT WALK A GODAMN MILE MY SPINAL ERECTORS GIVE UP AND GET TIRED IM LIKE WTF, i have to walk all hunched sometimes

also my lower back has no endurance after 10 mins of being standing i have to sit down

Do you have an otherwise sedentary lifestyle sitting a lot or something ?

no, i also run track, but for weird reason i have literally 0 endurance

Not exactly easy to figure out correct form when every form video teaches it differently often to the point of giving conflicting advice

Might be genetic or something man, even when my back was really fucking strong (for my standards, not even close to your level), it was the same for me, and it's the same now. My sister meanwhile is one of the least athletic people I know and has no problems sitting up straight for hours. Also have you tried training specifically for muscular endurance instead of strength? Try doing low weight exercises for 20 reps, long hikes with a backpack etc. Also, try and look up which muscles in your back you might be neglecting. There's probably exercises out there that seem memey but once you do them, you'll see the difference. Or not, but worth researching.

FUck u guys this is making my anxiety on lifting even worse. I haven started yet but my goal is to just have some physical activity and not look like shit. And also i thought lifting would make ne stronger and prevent me from having random body pains.

Guys.. im so confused

yes when i do high reps i lose strenght but gain endurance and can walk and stand straight no problem

Look up stuff like barbell medicine and athleanx and fucking trust your doctors, not dyel trolls on Jow Forums and roided morons who will either die of liver failure by 38 or be in a wheelchair by 50.
The truth is you probably don't have the genetics nor did you start early enough to be world class in strength or aesthetics. But if you take up a sport and combine it with resistance training (slow progression with 8-12 reps per set not 1-5 powerlifting back-breaking) you can change your physique and athleticism substantially, as well as your health (for the better).

I dont have a doctor i never thought lifting is that serious since the sticky and faqs online i see they say everyone can do it

Not planning to do anythin serious tho or lift super heavy weights to be a bodybuilder. Just something casual. Ive done so bodyweight stuff before too. But im not gonna die right? Shit im going to the gym in 5 mins.

Do you have a program set up even? Do you know how to do basic lifts and use machines? There's no shame in paying a PT. If too poor or proud, look up videos of proper form on youtube. AthleanX is a channel I really recommend.
If you don't have a program, decide on what you want, and then look for a program like that. Don't fall for the "strengrh base" meme if you're only looking for aesthetics for example. I would also really recommend taking up a sport or at least getting a PT for a few gym sessions.

>i can lift heavy OK (200-230 KG deadlifts for reps)

Nice larp, dude. No one has a 30 kg range on their deadlift like that.

t. actual 234 kg x 5 deadlifter

I have free pt sessions for my first 3 visits. Today is my last. I picked the leddit’s fitness beginner routine. They say its the routine for absolute beginners and everyone can do it

if squats and deadlifts give you back pain then either

>1. you probably don't know how to do the lifts correctly.

or

>2. have a weak core/low back which you could/should address with accessory work.

or

>3. your a weak pussy, and your scared of putting in work and doing things that are hard so you make excuses to make yourself not feel like the weak pathetic sack of shit you know yourself to be.

how come i cured my chronic LB pain deadlifting then?

Deadlifts and back squats are both excellent exercises but ultimately they won't be good for everybody

I personally do trapbar deads or rack pulls and zerchers for my squats. A lot of the same benefits with way less pressure through the lumbar spine

No need to baby and bathwater the exercises

What are spine erectors. 3 years lifting. Last squat pr was 325 and last DL pr was 365. No pain at all. If you get back pain it's probably your own fault.

Weak back and prs for 3 years real talk

Chalk don’t fix bad form, son

Projecting

It's more a painful fear of being crippled

Kek

Pretty much just the weights placing stress on the body forcing it to adapt and become stronger. It's no coincidence that old people with osteoporosis are advised to start lifting.
Sport has it's fair share of physical stress but it's mostly just wear and tear on the joints.

>3 years lifting
>365 DL
how?

You should be well into 400-450 and beyond in 3 years of lifting.

Post body. Hint: they never do. So shut the fuck up DYEL pussys go back to r9k incels

Looking good

Squats/Deads are great for bone health because they let you lift heavy enough in order to provoke bone size increases, which is useful later down the road.
