Now before any 4chaners say "I was on my high school soccer team...Ronaldo sucks" Or I did WII boxing..Mayweather is a pussy And finally If I took roids I'd be ripped too...(while sitting on couch)
My Question is..these are legends like it or not...so is anyone on Jow Forums close to up and coming like these people. Like is it just all hard work and that's it..or mixed with some luck. Tell me who will you become?
Can you read? These are comments people assume that taking roids you get ripped ..while ( now stay with me on this) while sitting on the couch...ok u follow?

Ya Messi is extremely talented I just picked Ronaldo because it was there
Been boxing pretty much all my life and there's just so much stuff coming together when we talk about Floyd. His father and his uncles were pros. His uncle Roger was actually really good. His father was good as well and obviously Floyd started at a very young age. He definitely was lucky in this regard because not only was his family full of experienced pros but also the fact that they were his family. A trainer who's your dad or uncle is always going to put more effort and care into you. He sparred grown pros as a young boy, that's one of the main reasons he was so defensive. Still, he was always hard working. As much as he is a dick, you never saw him drink or do drugs and he was never out of shape.

Extremely impressive info...damn. I like that. This is all I seek good conversation. Sure Jow Forums trolls too but this is good info thanks bro.
It's genetics/innate talent, hard work, and starting young. Thats it. You can teach almost any kid to play a piano but few will have the innate talent to be the next Motzart. Plenty of kids play soccer every day from a young age, very few have "it". It's a mix of all of it. You'll know pretty quickly if you have what it takes at a young age. >are you as good or better than the top 25% right from the jump? >can you practice longer and harder than those 25% to be the top .1%? >if no to either, find something else. People like to point to Jordan not making his basketball team in HS. But he was only shunned because of his height at the time. He played JV and fucking DOMINATED. Then he hit a growth spurt and the rest is history. >innate talent >hard work (since he had been playing since a young boy) >pure luck with genetics (a late growth spurt in his sophomore to Jr. summer)

Love this approach...so true..DO YOU HAVE THE IT...nicely put.
Just to add, don't care if anyone believer me but its 100% true. >start playing tennis at 4 >dad is amateur player but high level am. >gets me private coach at 6 >become #1 ranked Jr. in my HUGE city (one of the biggest in the country) >play into Jr. High with private coach almost every day >path is to go pro >parents move us 3 hours north to the country >no tennis courts anywhere (torn down for nig basketball courts) >move in summer of 6th to 7th grade >don't touch a racket again until Sophmore HS when I convince a teacher to start a team and use the private golf course courts >Go to first tourney a year later >beat some scrub, stillgotit.jpg >play a guy who started like me but never had to stop for a few years >get DOMINATED like it was my first day >realize its over >play anyways >go to college and join club team >can't even hang with top guy on club team, but low levels are easy peasy And that's what a nearly 5 year break can do to a kid at the top of a field. My mom still apologizes to this day for having to move and stopping my future in tennis.

Uugh dude sorry ... but like nothing you can think back when you moved that could have been utilized to keep that skill up?
I'm going to be the world's greatest warrior, John Sanchez. And when I do, I will owe my success to fit. You're all legends in my eyes. This board has made me a much better person. I still have a ways to go, but you guys are my inspiration, my reason to continue on. I guess keep checking to see who is climbing the ranks in the Welter weight class. The guy with the blue auroboros tattoo around his bicep will be me.
