abs are a meme, i know guys who do no ab workouts and have ripped 6 packs

just do some cable crunches, something you can overload with weight in low reps rather than doing 100 leg raises or some other shit

Having larger and stronger abdominal muscles means that you are better able to keep your torso rigid in compound movements (most apparent with rows/deadlifts/squats/overhead pressing) so you are better able to train the rest of your body and will help prevent injury/improve posture. Furthermore a developed rectus abdmominus will be visible at a higher BF%

What the fuck does this even mean, and how does it have any relation to abdominal strength training?

Listen, you don't need to do a thousand different meme ab exercises. You got things like sit ups, roman chair sit ups, ab wheels, and leg raises of whatever sort you can manage with the equipment available to you. Pick a couple of them, and on two different days per week, do 1-2 of them for 4-5 sets of enough reps that the final set is near, but not at, failure. These is the most ancillary of ancillary exercises, the EXACT exercise and set/rep scheme isn't as important as just fucking doing it.

And planks are 100%, invariable, indisputably for unlifting retarded wankers.
