People who ATG squat a lot are also likely to deadlift frequently and possibly do several other lifts that recruit the posterior chain heavily like cleans or deadlifts. Squats are a thoroughly mediocre glutes exercise and they will make your quads look disproportionately big and stupid looking. The only portion glutes receive any kind of load in is in the very bottom of the squat and it's a weaker contraction than almost all glutes exercises.
