You should try actually cooking the meat next time

the meat looks kind of undercooked user you know it's not good to eat undercooked meat you could get sick

i like rare/medium rare. usually okay with beef to do

I had a friend that insisted on cooking steak like this despite me asking for well-done (we're nowhere near a farm!) and I ate it anyways.
Next day I threw up just the uncooked parts.

That looks alright but a little lacking and incomplete

yeah it was pretty nice. the carrots took a lot longer to get done which i was surprised by, just assumed the potatoes would take longer
my roommates all like it on the rare side so i was okay with cooking it to my own tastes but its pretty rude to just take over like that. that being said rare>well done when it comes to steak so i can kind of understand him wanting to make you a better mea

God you people are pussies. I eat steak and beef rare all the time and have never gotten sick from it. Only time I've had food poisoning is from premade supermarket boiled eggs.

i guess he had some shit quality beef or your just unable to digest it. still though, there's a reason steak is supposed to be cooked that way to most people

Not him even though he is a fruit cake, my friends had a roommate who was flamming that would cook for them in a skirt, my friends weren't gay but the gay guy liked cooking

that must be a nice setup. we dont have a set schedule and normally just eat solo but once in a while one of us gets jonesing for something and its nice to share a meal sometimes

I usually dislike rare meat as well but this seems tender enough to be cooked that way. Look at how the muscle fibers are seperating, that shows the meat is really tender.

Though i still would have cooked it a bit more to medium rare.
