Greetings.
I am Oswald of Carim, the pardoner.
Thou art a friend. For thee, a warm welcome.

I literally just ordered an flcl tank to workout in

Found a smashed taco in the gutter while outside. Couldn't help myself. Little muddy but it was all right. Not going to beat myself up for it, I'll start fresh tomorrow.

I'm noticing that I'm not getting much calcium, what are some good non-dairy sources?
Not lactose intolerant but I have poor impulse control and if I buy bulk quantities of dairy product (especially cheese or yoghurt) I will eat it

Why not start today anonkin?

Remember to everyone, the key to long term success is consistency. Count your calories every day, make sure they're at least slightly below your TDEE, and try to get as much activity as you can. You can lose a lot of weight, and a lot of weight fast, eating only one raw veal heart a week or whatever meme diet some spaz is spewing on Joe Rogan this week, but you're just gonna gain it all right back. Trust me.

The only way it works is with CICO and adopting a healthy, active lifestyle over the long term.

Would a goats heart still work?

Having lurked for a couple of threads in /fat/ made me realize I should have paid more attention to this thread. It's helpful to know that others struggle and succeed the same way I do.

Down 2.3lbs this week

I've run into a problem on OMAD of eating only 800 calories a day because while I used to eat 1400-1500 calories in a sitting, I can't seem to get to those without eating bad foods.
I'm just too full if I eat healthy, which is good until about noon the next day when I feel way too sluggish.
I'm thinking of dropping omad but it's the only diet that had ever worked and felt natural

just switch to IF. eat a small meal when you feel sluggish then your regular 800kcal later

Don't @ me if you're over 200lbs fatties

went on a vacation, i just got back...exhausted!

went to turkey on an all inclusive for 14 days. all in all i gained 7 lbs, but totally worth it! truly a once in a lifetime trip.

Why are you even here, nigger?

Im 55lbs down since september, a 5'8 manlet thats 220 right now down from 275. I dont see any loose skin yet but I work out 5 days a week (around 1:30-2 hours of intense workout), do volleyball 1ce a week, do muay thai twice a week, and play tennis. I am also 23.

My question is this, if i continue doing all of this stuff, will I avoid getting loose skin? I havent had any yet, everything seems fine, but im nervous the last 40-50 pounds might produce some. Also any advice to avoid it?

Attached: issues_resolved_by_weight_loss.jpg (480x360, 34K)

Ha! I know you are trolling but I no joke had a girlfriend like that.
Always planning trips on my dime and eating way too much.
Women shouldn't be allowed out of the kitchen, not because they should be cooking (lol what kind of retard would eat a woman's cooking these days) but because they need to get the idea of traveling for fun out of their heads. It's an epidemic.

At that SW and your CW tgere's no way to know if you will get loose skin yet or not, and then if you have loose skin at your goal weight you have to wait another year or two to find out if it will tighten up or if you need surgery.
There is no prevention. I reccomend slathering yourself in bio-oil on any fatty parts like your gut and moobs, and regular lotion on the rest of your body, though I doubt it's going to have any substantial, if any effect at all on loose skin, it's still really good for your skin and you will smell nice.

Attached: 1558455329248.jpg (830x990, 119K)

Im hoping that be being active and sweating will keep my skin healthier and help it retract better. I also have a pretty wide frame for a manlet so maybe if i have loose skin it will be minimal. What do you think about taking collagen? What is SW and CW?

Attached: 1539627362578.jpg (780x439, 38K)

Yesterday I ate a bunch of restaurant food at my brother's birthday, so this is my food for the day

Attached: IMG_20190607_095632.jpg (3072x4096, 3.47M)

I've officially had a one week plateau as of today. I wasn't sure it was ever going to happen, but it did. Woosh, come to me please.

(Unsweetened) almond milk. I don't like to drink it plain and straight, but it's good in cereal and it's fine as a coffee creamer or you can buy it as chocolate milk if you have the calories to spare.

SW - starting weight
CW - current weight
GW - goal weight
Aneceotally, people say that collagen does help a little, but there's no evidence, but it's not very expensive so there's really no reason not to take it.

Sup fatties, I'm down 25 lbs and I'm ready to start my first lifting program today, SS.
I lift sometimes but never on a program.
Does anyone have an opinion on the volume of lifts in this program? I think it's pretty low but they say not to worry about it.

Squat 5x3
Bench 5x3
Deadlift 5x1

Salad was great bros, everyone else who had burgers/grilled sandwiches is flagging the rest of the day but I'm full of energy

I don't even know why I'm so mad
am I autistic

Good job, man.

If you are just starting to lift don't do such a low number of reps. You need to learn the mechanics of the movements not go heavy on the weights. I would seriously consider doing 10-12 reps in the beginning. Doing 3 reps or singles means you need to go heavy and if you don't understand the movements you will break yourself

Down to finally under 170lbs as of this morning. Feels REAL fucking gud man. Was 215 back in September, but somehow got down to 195 when I finally actually started dieting and bought a scale 10 weeks ago. Amazing how CICO just werks. I haven't even been eating insanely healthy. Just eating alot more mushrooms, chicken, greek yogurt and ham and cheese sammiches. Haven't had one day where I was above my TDEE, and have averaged an ~33% caloric deficit every day. I've got to start working out here shortly. Shame there isn't a gym within 100 miles of where I live.

Started to cook a bit more, got a great job, started caring more about my hygiene, started investing stocks and have made a small amount of money over the past year, and am planning on going back to school online here this fall. I think I'm turning it around bros.

Question about eating habits

Keto
So the point is to replace carbs with fats and then your body burns more body fat during a fast?
How do I tell if I am in ketosis? How would a 2000 calorie diet of 75% fat 20% protein 5% carb result differently than a more balanced diet of the same carlorie amount?

Exercise
What is a good cutting routine? Been doing PPL 6 days on 1 day off

>Squat 5x3
>Bench 5x3
>Deadlift 5x1
Might not seem like a lot on paper but tell me it's not enough when you are 32/35 lifts in.

>How do I tell if I am in ketosis?
Don't worry so much about being in ketosis. You will be in ketosis as long as you stick to the program, the one way to actually check is a blood stick and those get expensive.
Piss, breath and other methods only show that you were previously in ketosis and in my experience can be wildly inaccurate.
Count your calories, keep your macros and you will lose weight.
When you feel that you have done all the keto you can handle, and that time will come sooner or later, then move over to OMAD or some kind of fasting.

What nutrients/vitamins should I be getting each day?

Depends significantly on what kind of diet you have.

Slow and steady wins the race

Can’t stop jacking off and binge eating.

Your dependence on hits of dopamine is that of a woman's.

That’s how I feel. Any advice for not being like this?

Get a fleshlight so you dont get deathgrip and stop eating

Medicate your underlying ADHD (I recommend lisdexamphetamine which is also indicated for binge eating), also eat a lot of carbs low-fat since carbohydrate deficiency is the root cause of binge eating

About 105 was my max too once user. Keep it up.
I went to 74, back to 86 and now 80.
Don't give up.
I'm 188cm and you?

>bunch of coworkers are all sitting in the lounge eating pecan swirl pastries

>"lol, I need to do better with the calories out part", coworker laughs between pastry bites, "but it's national donut day, you should take one of these pecan swirls too, user"
>no thanks
I don't care how what a social failure it makes me, I'm done being fat.

I just started ssri so I don’t really wanna go mixing other meds while I get used to this shit. Fuck I got dressed to go buy a bunch of shit food and I’m laying in bed just thinking about how I’m not even that hungry and don’t even want to eat. Would it be okay to just eat yogurt and some oatmeal today?

>national donut day
what the fuck is wrong with America

>i just started ssri

not gonna make it

Offices are the worst kind of consensus forming echo chambers out there.

Potential to make huge social gains and instead you chose to be insufferable to save half a day of progress. Just because you're not fat doesn't mean you're making it.

Literally everything has a "national day" thanks to relentless capitalism, but supposedly donut day in June spawned from a fund raising event in 1938 to help sufferers of the great depression, taking inspiration from the donuts that were served to soldiers during WW1.
As a side note, the US is not the only country that celebrates a donut day.

The jew in me came out and I caved to a free french cruller. I'll make sure to do extra hand rubbing to make up for it

Yeah I want to get off this shit

Good job, i'm 181cm, i've went from 75 to 104 in the past 8 years, it's been a while since i've known what to do to be healthy and to lose weight but i didn't have the discipline until this year. I want to kill myself

I can't even pretend to be that kind of retard. I'm content with the fact that half of my coworkers are NGMIs that whine about how they want/need to lose weight, and I tell them honestly how easy it is when they ask how, yet not one of them has stopped eating the junk food that's constantly in the workplace.

Be strong, user. You know exactly how high-calorie donuts are.

You don't even have to lie desu, just don't tell the whole truth. I just said I cut out a lot of sugar and let them think what they want. You get nothing from helping them, it's just detrimental to your image.

Is this the same guy who picked up a birthday cake from a kid’s party?

I fucking hate the things, I've had enough to last a lifetime in the past two years, I just wanna kill myself because I hate the job and it's going to be 10x worse today.

Is it possible that losing weight may be making my dick thinner? I knew about longer but I haven't heard about this and it's freaking me out a bit.

It sucks lifting on a calorie deficit. Too many people have convinced me that it’s pointless to even try to build muscle while losing weight. Any fat bros out there been able to build significant muscle while losing weight?

I’ve theorized you could do it following one meal a day and doing hard workouts right before or after eating. But I’d like to hear if any of y’all have made it happen.

Where is confess guy
I’m chocolate mono user down 1.25kg from eating only chocolate. Today we do chips.

You can build muscle while at a low deficit like 500kcal. But half your calories have to be proteins.

I guess the joke was too high iq for /fat/

Currently fasting for about 26 hours. How long should I continue until I break it? Is there a tapering off of the effectiveness from fasting?

Thoughts on PB2? I really like natural peanutbutter and was wondering about using this with celery to hit my protein goal. Costco only has the bigass jars though, so it seems like a risk if it's gross.

I’m not sure I calculated my calories right last night. Had the innards of a turkey club sandwich, skipped bread. Then I had a print of cider. Got home, thought I calculated my calories right. Had enough calories for another cider, so I did. Still was under my count though.
Just glad I skipped the cake and ice cream last night.

I like it, I add it to shakes, and oatmeal. It tastes like the real thing to me. My wife makes a paste with it and spreads it on bread, she says it's not the same but pretty close.

It's an effective peanut butter substitute when you mix in into things like protein shakes, but many people don't find it to effectively replace real peanut butter when you just add a little water to make a spread out of it. On its own, it's not nearly as sweet or savory as real peanut butter, although the peanut flavor is there. I don't hate it as a spread personally, but I think it's better as an additive.
I don't recommend the chocolate PB2. Off-brand peanut butter powders are fine too, just so you know. I have a generic brand from a discount store and it's the exact same as PB2.

400 lb user here.
Officially down 80 lbs since Feb 6.

Another 100 to go then I reevaluate where I'm at for loose skin.

Thanks for the education, knowledge and lolz to get me through this Jow Forums

not any more ;)

Im at 88kg right now. I hope to go under 85 by the end of month but I will not be disappointed if that does not happen. There is still some distance to ~70kg.

I know.
I'll call myself 300 lbs user when I get there.
When I started posting in April I was 421 lbs. Kinda just stuck with it.

By then I'm hoping to be confident enough to post pics.
