Deadlifts are the god-tier lower back exercise. If you're doing double overhand you'll get solid forearm gains out of it too.
OHP will develop your shoulders really well.
Both help a lot with shooting.
Do them heavy, low reps, perfect form.

I'm actually training to resist bullets. I started by having my bro throw the bullets at me, but only a few months later, I am now able to withstand bullets fired from a low-speed slingshot without them breaking the skin. I think that with a few more years worth of training I will be able to square off against most handguns.
