Fucking this. When I first started Greyskull, it would take me maybe 45mins to an hour to finish. Now as the weight has gone up I find myself taking almost an hour and a half. I don’t even look at the clock anymore, I just get in there and when I’m done I’m done.
I spend close to 2 hours in the gym because I add on some low intensity cardio to shed some extra fat
I go three hours regularly, when I hear faggots saying they only go for an hour I know they're brosplit dyels
I spend 4 hours some days just walking 12 or so miles because I don't wanna be fat anymore.
After months of hard work and long walks, I'm 25 pounds from a 'healthy' bmi.

Yeah I never understood how people could just lift for 45 minutes. Even brosplits have you do at least one set of heavy weight everyday even if you're doing easy volume sets for the rest of it. I switched to a 6 day split specifically to get away from spending 3 hours in the gym and I still end up doing at least 90 minutes.
You get additional cortisol from fasting too, its the same mechanism of glycogen depletion. People don't lose their hair because their glycogen runs out.
It's not that my workout is two hours
It's that I'm at the gym for such a long time because I'm waiting for people to get out of the damn squat rack

I like spending time at the gym. Some workouts feel good and I get to socialise with other people who have a self-improvement mindset. Better than going home to listen to my housemate shouting at his video games.
People who spend more than an hour in the gym look like shit. It's a scientific fact. After an hour of lifting your body starts producing cortisol - a hormone which is responsible for breaking down muscle to use as fuel for energy. Literally the exact opposite of anabolic effect. But it's all bullshit anyway. The best workout program is to do 3-4 sessions of 15-20 minute workouts throughout the day. It's hard to do unless you go full neet, but it's the best way to maximize gains.
Non-roiding you should spend an hour in the gym max. If you haven't pushed your body to its limit in an hour then you're working out wrong

Not them, but I lift 2 hrs a day in order to into powerlifting and for mma when I can move back to an area with a good gym. 335 bench, 435 squat,535 DL at 205lbs and 6ft1. My lifts rocketed after doubling my time in the gym.
R8 today's workout. Took 1hr 45 min.

i started going to the gym with some friends. we'd arrive at the same time, my mate would leave before i finished doing fucking squats. he seriously thought it was the only exercise i did because of how god damn long the warmup and resting is
