Work thread

Any robots here work construction or building trades? Do you enjoy it? I enjoy the work but I hate the cunts I work with. I'm Australian and all tradies do is talk about sport, John laws, footy and listening to garbage normie music on this makita stereos. The first question I always get asked on a building site is 'Do you follow sport?'. I do I dont fucking follow sport, wtf does that have to do with laying bricks, digging trenches, jack hammering and mixing cement? Why is it Men judge each other off of their obsession of watching other more succesful men chas a sack of air around? I;de rather watch live leak footage of the Iraq war od Rhodesian bush war documentaries You know REAL Man shit. Wtf is it that as a man Im supposed to like a sport. Why the fuck is that the only goddamn way normal men can size each other up.

Fuck I miss the Army where we used to talk about raping women, national socialism, guns, drinking alcohol and shooting cunts in the face.

I work at a burger place. Fast food is the lowest tier job for a human, far far worse than a supermarket or retail store. I'm desperately trying to get a job anywhere else.

Cool man. Keep replying to me thread.

Bump

Iggfrfccb

I'm an Australian landscaper.
I hate talking about sport, so whenever the rest of them are talking about it I just try to steer the conversation into how much we hate non-whites and poofs.

Im a labourer for a landscaping company. Its better than working on a building site thats for sure. But holy shit all these guys talk about is footy. They think Im a bit of a push over because I never talk and obviously have to do the nigger jobs around the site but the reality is if they figured out my real nature Ide get fired or end up fighting someone then get fired.

I'm a NEET and I've never had a job. They seem pretty bad though.

Yeah, I have no idea how they can talk about a fucking ball game so much.
It's annoying, but it's still better than the faggot bugmen and roasties I had to be around when I had an office job.

Because watching sports is seen as a masculine pastime. Normies can not distinguish between watching a sport and playing one. The latter? Yes of course that is masculine. The former? Sitting on your arse, watching a ball being kicked around is not masculine.

Because most tradies are horrendous normie's who burn through their pay on pokies and shit beer.

Bottom tier fedex employee here. Job itself sucks but coworkers are openly weebs and gamers so we all get along.

YEAH BUT WHY?! Also why is it seen as the only masculine past time as opposed to watching war documentaries. I mean its not like im a total loser, I go to the gym, drink like hell, smash hookers, was in the military I just hate sport and dont play into the whole competitive sports man bullshit

If you told them you watch documentaries of any kind, they would laugh at you. No offence user, but we are talking about blue collar workers here. They are not the most intelligent people ever. Here in England, if you do not watch football, you are seen as a poof. It is all men like this know.

im australian in cbr student though so no job. Stupid tradie cunts i dont like how much they earn

Dude you dont get it. I can be a blue collar worker AND enjoy military history and war docos. Just as I can lay bricks and not enjoy rugby, just as I was in the military for 9 years; most alpha male profession in the world and openly was against all the alpha male bullshit. You dont need to be able to pass a ball to break concrete slabs with a jack hammer or shoot a sand nigger through the eyes. Its not like I couldnt take any of these guys in a physical confrontation or keep up with them in a drinking session. I work as hard as they do.

Im an unskilled labourer and get $25 an hour, standard for all non skilled labourers. If thats alot to you you can easily get a white card then just ring around.

$25 though for doing shit all, honestly doesnt sound bad

Exactly. I am agreeing with you user. Try explaining that to them and see what response you get. Not all tradesmen are like the way I described, but a lot of them are

I work my ass off actually. My back is fucked. If Im not lifting heavy stones Im bent over on a jack hammer or shoveling shit. Its not mentally demanding though.
Yeah true.

Most of those jobs tend to suck. A lot of companies are scams. If you try to work independently finding good paying jobs is so far and in between it doesn't really average out working a job that makes less for longer. Unless you know an actual good company first hand to work for it typically sucks.

Expat fucking around in australia as a (((backpacker))). Tradies are absolute fucktards. Those cunts think because they wear high vis shirts and snort shard to get through their garbage shifts that they're hard shit. I do stablework with horses and a couple of times we were looking for part timers to add on to the staff and of all the people that ever cycled in or out, the native tradies were the only ones that were like "yeah nah fuck this, too dangerous and harrrd for me"
Really irritates me since they're always so proud and loud about being real men yet they can't even fight and are dependent on a dozen different substances to do their pissant jobs
Only cool guys I've met have been vets like yourself. Probably something to do with discipline and humility on top of backbreaking labor instead of just the latter, but I wouldnt know, this culture is still a mystery to me
I think the cunts are just stuck in a cycle of doing work, coming home, and repeat while they watch their numbers go up with nothing to spend it on but overpriced beer and pain meds

Warehouse work can be comfy if you don't have ridiculous quotas/KPIs to hit. Even better if you get your forklift license and can just fuck around on those all day.

I work on a farm, it's a bit "yorozuya" so in a sense one also becomes amateur plumber, electrician, carpenter, welder, mechanic, constructor, veterinary, programmer, landlord, janitor and a lot of other stuff. The conversations usually always circle around work related stuff though, outside of that the number one topic of interest is hunting and fishing.

Curious, where does programming come up?

I work as a sparkie not in construction but around blue collar workers all the time. If I don't like what they're talking about I just go on my phone until something good comes up. The work is fun and although workmates do alot of normie stuff I do like how they're always talking shit and trying to have a laugh.

I work in as a supermarket cleaner/trolley collector, you think fast food is low?

The only thing keeping me sane is making videos on youtube.

And OP you're fucked, since the housing crash happened no one will be building new houses anymore

Some basic statistic/memo programs for counting and sorting weights and other measurements and there's some robot for high pressure washing and feeding machinery.

Lots of public works in kangaroo land
Mostly bridges and roads and office spaces I see being built as opposed to residential housing
I always get paranoid when I see you fuckers while I'm downloading porn and anime off the mall wifi

I have to clean toilets, help dumb customers and restock the shelves at 5 am.

It would be better if I just died.

Hey friend, what store do you work at? Coles slave here.

And since this thread is all about work, lets all watch my depressing videos on the subject.

Enjoy!

Do you reckon it's possible to spot a depressed person, user? All the people I see working in the supermarket always seem so uppity or at least very focused it's hard to imagine them feeling that way.

They're numb to everything I think, at least I am. I mean I'm the only cleaner/trolley collector on most days so despite there being a lot of people around me it's very isolating.

When I worked retail it revealed to me that it's a snapped on personality thing
You just go smiley and try to keep people from remembering your face and dodging as much responsibility as possible. That usually means just answering their dumb question or whatever but it's just a different state of mind when actively observed by others and for those with the energy, during their whole shift, since looking depressed on the job sounds like something you get fired for in our hellish dystopia
Fucking months after I got fired from that job because the store went under, I got fucking panic shocks whenever I heard someone utter "excuse me..."
Not to elevate myself or anything but I think it's something like being a soldier where you can do murders and bear with pain and all that while being shit on by people above you because you snapped on that role of having to do that shit and get through it
If "excuse me" did that to me, God help the active duty guy who hears firecrackers or low flying helicopters

work for my shire counciin a rural area, construction is based, love my job

Tradies and labourers are overpaid in Australia. I think I know why, though. Since they're usually from lower class families they have no financial literacy and spend near every dollar they earn. Bad for them and their families long term, but great for the economy.

Whats it like working at fedex?
Sll the employees at my local UPS store are fucking jacked and they all look like male models.

I'm a plumber and yes I fucking love it.

I work as a wagecuck in a shop at the moment. Hoping to become a policeman soon enough. If I get it then I can at least retire at 55.

Oil patch here. You've gotta put on the tough guy/blue collar work persona that the normalfags can empathize with.
