I had never heard Serani Poji's work before, some good shit. Thanks for sharing.
I'm assuming that you're in your older 20's or early 30's. You long for things of substance but your own tendency towards making things light-hearted and dismissive prevents you from making closer attachments. You also try to focus on the positive, despite outwardly appearing very cynical.
man Jow Forums fucking blows
I'm too tired to link anything right now but

Based patrician user. You are 22.
Thanks, appreciate the compliment. I see you have some excellent taste too. I'm 27, though.
Likewise. I always tend to underestimate the age of the people that post in these threads for some reason.

I think in general people assume everyone on Jow Forums is younger, no worries though. I'm assuming you're a math major, mid-20's, a little hipster but moreso because you enjoy new viewpoints and expanding your own experiences more than being contrarian.
You likely are a young guy that really, really likes hallucinogens. Probably NEET or a student with an undeclared major. Never learned how to drive and think going off the grid is a good idea.

It's kinda hard to pick albums, I didn't really want to pick same artist multiple times. Only top-2 are clear favourites.
You know a ton about conspiracy theories. Your girlfriend cucked you with your dealer.
Sorry for responding late, had to shower and walk my dog. I'm an uncultured degenerate, so I had to listen to snippets of all those albums just now. Surprisingly, they all sound like things I'd listen to. The Thunderforce IV OST sounds top tier, reminds me of something I'd hear in a Sonic fangame (they always have top tier soundtracks).
As for what I assume about you based on your taste, you seem kinda like me, but more cultured and with your shit together a little better. You guessed my personality almost perfectly, but I'm actually 18.
I'm assuming you're young but very depressed. Probably had some legitimate pain in your life that's contributed to that. Deep down you long for beauty and happiness but won't allow yourself to express anything other than cynicism.
Awesome taste btw
Neat, I really wasn't expecting any replies. Super glad you enjoyed the albums. If you listen to only one thing, check out "Drip, Drip" on First Utterance. "Road to Nowhere" on Little Creatures is incredible too.
Thanks for the reply, it fits somewhat.
Although, I don't know if 22 counts as young anymore.
Nice to see this thread didn't die. Also, I'm actually 20/history major, but otherwise correct.
No problem. These threads are only decent if people actually respond to each other. Not to go on a tangent, but I resent that Jow Forums has become a (you) fest where all anyone cares about is that red exclamation mark. Threads like these can be great, but there has to be a discourse. Otherwise this place is no better than thots fishing for comments on instagram or some shit.

user, solid list but why out of the blue and not time? Out of the blue is a good album and all but it's not at the level time is.
I bet you're unironically fun at parties, user.
Thanks man. You know, I would probably replace Out of the Blue with Time. As much as I love Mr. Blue Sky, the overall quality of Time is just ridiculous. Not to mention Twilight is one of the greatest songs of all... time. Pun not intended.
I know NMH gets a lot of shit but good taste.
Yep, the main reason why I usually don't go for threads like these, especially on /mu/. The chances of actual discussion are slim, and lazyposters prevail. The music threads on r9k are just much comfier desu.
I got caught up in talking about ELO and forgot to make assumptions
assuming you're 30-something, maybe a truck driver or a maintenance worker. Laid back, prefer to spend time with friends rarely but when you do you go hard. Like to drink, maybe an alcoholic
I can dig it user. /mu/ really is okay for finding new shit or specific shit, but actual discussion there is just abysmal

You are a 19-year old college dropout from some big city in the US, maybe from Cali.
Maybe you feel some disconnection from the normies.
A 24-year old person stuck in a job he doesn't like. You life is good otherwise, except for the fact that the art-hoes wont match you on Tinder. You often wonder why you didn't talk to that girl in HS.
>A 24-year old person stuck in a job he doesn't like.
Wrong, i'm younger and at uni
>You life is good otherwise, except for the fact that the art-hoes wont match you on Tinder.
On point
You often wonder why you didn't talk to that girl in HS.

Only know of Close to the Edge and Discovery. Both are great albums, but I think that Relayer and Homework are both better albums.
I've only listened to out of the Blue and Little Creatures here. Again, great albums but I think A New World Record and Remain in Light are better albums.
Only heard Frances The Mute out of this selection. I think I like Deloused in the Comatorium a bit more, but it's really close.
Going back to ELO, I still think A New World Record is their best album. Also, Neutral Milk Hotel is overrated.
I didn't even know the Gorillaz have made an album post Plastic Beach, which was probably my favorite album since I enjoyed the chillwave influences.
Still think you picked the wrong Yes album, but Loveless is great. So is Jet Set Radio's soundtrack
I don't think I could actually pick just 5 albums as my favorite of all time. but off the top of my head and in no order, The United States of America's self-titled album, Soft Parade by The Doors, Meddle by Pink Floyd (though really close with Atom Heart Mother), Caledonia by Suidakra and OST by People Under the Stairs
18 year old freshman with a lot of hopes and dreams
Fuck this is why I can't pick just five. I immediately just realized I'd need to somehow fit Pilgrimage by OM on the list, and Forever Changes by Love as well. I'm sure more will come to me right after I post this.
1. My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

5. Endtroducing... - DJ Shadow
Could not find this one either.
They released 2 albums in the past 2 years (one sucked the other was really nice).
Their sound has changed allot during the years maybe you should give them a listen :)
1. Fugazi - Repeater
2. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
3. Beck - Sea Change
4. Kanye - Graduation
5. Ben Folds Five - Self-Titled
19 year old beta dude probably virgin or depressed.
(I dont mean to offend you, thats just what i think of you based on your music)
25 year old college dropout with a lot of wasted potential
totally the opposite, but that means you were that 18 year old someday
about right but i am not a virgin
still a 19 y/o beta cuck for certain though
>assuming you're 30-something, maybe a truck driver or a maintenance worker.
18 year old university undergrad who delivers pizza
>Laid back, prefer to spend time with friends rarely but when you do you go hard.
Pretty much spot on. Go hard or go home when I'm with the fellas.
>Like to drink, maybe an alcoholic
More of a weed guy, but I can't stand weed people or pothead culture.
1. The Good, the Bad and the Queen self-titled
2. Gorillaz - Demon Days
3. Puffy AmiYumi - Nice
4. Asian Kung-fu Generation - Sol-fa

These are my favourite albums at the moment. I play the songs from these albums on guitar pretty often.

3. Flowers of Romance

4. Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs

I try to like cross but I always get turned off by lets party and DVNO
ok sure, here are some of my favorites
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
and last one is probably either another Metallica album or Black Sabbath album
that's honestly fine considering those two, along with DANCE, are the sort of normie bait to rope people into listening to the rest. if everythings good but those two, i wouldnt sweat it.
that being said... man, dvno is such a jam. im surprised
I don't have any top albums and will just play anything rock related at work.
What kind of fag am I?
I wish I could fully participate, but I'm a musiclet who only listens to random songs, never full albums. I think the only full albums I've listened to are
>Dark Side of the Moon- Pink Floyd
>Night at the Opera- Queen
So those are my favorite albums I guess.
you're just kind of boring i guess.
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
The Wall - Pink Floyd
Paramore - Paramore
The Money Store - Death Grips
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
not much of a queen guy but pink floyd is hype
nice albums -- gonna guess and say you're late 20s, not a "stoner" but prefers weed to alcohol, waiting for something different in life but never actually seeking it out
nice stuff, you seem like the type of person to save every album you hear somebody talk about and explore what that artist has to offer every time
I listen to more rap
? - XXXTENTACION
Shelby- Lil Skies
Enema of the state- Blink 182
The Wall- Pink Floyd
Appeal to reason- Rise Against
