I've heard stories of beta males renouncing their gender to pursue life as a female since being unable to adhere to male social norms and expectations. Similarly, there is an community of transgender women who identify as lesbians, which seems like a logical paradox, but then again a person's sexuality isn't necessarily tied to genitalia or identity.
Absolutely while i don't mind trans people doing whatever they want, i won't deny that many of the MtFs you see are men who got deeper into their autogynephilia fetish, and can find some sort of solace in that they are more desired as a "woman" than they are as a man. Transgender women who identify as lesbians are disturbing to me since most of them are non-passing, extremely perverted old men.

It seems really shallow and egotistical. Like I've never felt like a "man" per se, I just am one. I don't do anything society deems as masculine at all, but that doesn't mean I'm not a dude. I don't like girly shit either, but it seems like that's what trannies mean when they say they feel like a woman. But Trans women having to deal with gender roles being forced on them eventually gain a way to justify their transgenderism to other people in the form of a sexual fetish.
Plenty of them start out feeling like girls, but then soon enough they have to start coping with these feelings as they are compared to men.
They think "but I can't be a man, I feel like a girl- here are all the reasons i'm not a man, i'm actually a girl."
These reasons are self-invented because of the imposition of gender roles. If you simply stopped forcing men to be men, they wouldn't need to think of fetishistic justifications.
When people come on here, Jow Forums, and say "uwu boys why dont you give up your manhood i'm happy now you would be happy being a lil sissy boy"- that's them saying how happy they are living as a girl, but trying to come to the reality that they are a male girl. Instead of being scientific about it, they have to be social about it because otherwise nobody else would ever respect it or understand.
If they put their feelings in terms you can understand, like "i'm sissy bitch boi who is small so I deserve to be fucked." you can understand that. As opposed to having to explain the science to you. Therefore they cling onto these explanations very strongly.
They aren't fetishes per se, they just justify their own sexuality. They feel their sexuality must be justified in order to have it.
