...know your feel. Had similar experience with white gf years ago, never fully really fit in western society. Always thought what if our kid will face the same discrimination like me. Mixed people's personal view of their race has to do more with what culture their raised in than anything. If you are mixed, raised in a household where both cultures tranditions were practiced, then you'd more likely identify as mixed. Personally I'm a hapa but I identify as white because I was put in foster care and adopted by a white family at a very young age. I haven't spoken Chinese since I was 5 and only know english and my family are Irish/German
