the vast majority of psychologists would advise you to stay away from c.p. if you feel those urges you obviously can't suppress them, so if you keep on having those thoughts i'd advise you to visit a therapist. don't worry they can't snitch you out to the pd because of medical confidentiality, otherwise no one would visit them with problems like yours. they can legitimately help you, make you stop having those thoughts. good luck, user. do the right thing.

They absolutely can and will. Doctor/patient confidentiality has a loop hole, a very subjectively gaping one, such that if patient is believed to be a danger to themself or others, confidentiality can be broken.
