smoking very small doses of sativa helps my anxiety a lot and makes me feel a lot more motivated to do things
if i smoke too much of it i can get very anxious, although i can avoid that by smoking indica when i wanna get stoned
in either case, you have to remember that it can be a very easy source of pleasure, and it won't solve any of your problems, so only smoke every now and again and be careful not to get addicted

frankly, at first i didnt like it. the experience of not being in control over the normality of my body really scared me. but as i started smoking more and more with friends at high school, i got used to it. try it, its for some and not for others.

The flash you get when smoking weed is like a nicotinflash when smoking too much cigarettes just more intense.
The flash you get kind of feels like you're drunk but you are not feeling ill and you still have control over your body, it's just heavier to use because you feel weird from inhaling the smoke.
Honestly, weed isn't so cool as everyone thinks it is.

I mean really I wouldn't recomend smoking weed to help with your anxiety. For me personally I get way more anxious when I smoke than when I'm sober, weed paranoia is a real thing. I smoke to dull the pain of being alone all the time

I recently started to vape weed, its pretty nice and convenient. No smell, no lighting anything up, no nasal and mucal discomfort the next day. But as the other user said, do not use it all the time. Maybe once a week or month is good. If its your first time, smoke only like a small piece and see how you feel about it.

Weed may help your anxiety at first but over time it will begin to make it worse and worse to the point where you can't go more than a couple hours without smoking. You eventually can't do anything without smoking beforehand.

I started Lexapro after quitting weed and it actually helps. I'd recommend giving SSRIs a chance before weed. It'd also save a ton of money. My prescription is like $10 for a montth versus the $100 you'd spend a month on weed.

Yes, take serotonin pills that take "3 weeks" to work when there's things like dxm, lsd, and psilocybin that shoot your serotonin up to the levels every ssri does but in an hours time.

SSRI'S work but don't have any recreational value and can really fuck you up if they give you the wrong combo. I remember taking about 4 different ones (prozac, lexapro, effexor and some other one) and they all just added to my anxiety. It was getting to the point that once i hit that 3 week period, things were good for about 3 weeks after and then it'd stop working and start giving me this feeling of my heart beating very very hard.

Then low and behold I found psychedelics and my anxiety never came back. I made sure to let the therapists that they were a bunch of clowns prescribing clown drugs to people who think they're helping them.

Sounds like you either are making that all up or just bought SSRIs off the street and didn't get prescribed by an actual psychiatrist because there's no way a medical professional would do all that. There isn't even an SSRI on the market that can treat anxiety in "3 weeks" anxiety usually takes 6-8 weeks to be effected by the SSRI because anxiety is to climate as your current mood/emotional state is to weather.

Weed's fun, you'll never have a better experience than your first time smoking it. Don't start smoking if you have no job and no interests, because that shit is a death sentence. If you're anything like me, you'll let yourself slide further and further down the road of dependence and you'll start having bad thoughts and bad trips that replace the fun times you once had. Also, I'd recommend a bong or pipe rather than a spliff or blunt, only mix with tobacco if you already smoke it. You won't get addicted per say, but that high is not for everyone.

Weed sucks if your life isn't in order. Smoking when you should be doing other things always brought me anxiety, so I recommend to have your shit together before you start messing with it. I got very use to being lazy and smoking all day, and it was good but the anxiety was always in the back of my head. When I smoke after getting my shit done that is the best imo

Well none of us can really tell what weed's gonna do to you, it might make you feel more anxious(like me) it may make you feel mellow it might energize you. The only way yo certainly tell is to smoke it. If you do decide to do it be sure you dont have any respiratory problems(eg sinus infection or shit like that that can give you pains) mind your set and setting(how your mental health is in that day and in your general life and where you do it) so do it in a safe enviroment. Don't smoke too much on your 1st try be aware of the lag like hallucinations and the ghosting like one those might scare you. Yeah idk do it at your own risk, never had massive anxiety problems before i tried it but now i feel lightheaded constantly and im a lot more jumpy so pic related.

weed gives many people anxiety. it makes you "mellow" in a superficial way. mostly it just makes you lazy and dumb which comes across as "mellow" to others, but doesn't actually help you.

what i was gonna say. weed doesn't make me anxious at all, can make me paranoid though. also it makes me so social i start sending messages to random girls on normiebook cause i just need to talk. if i'm with friends i don't shut up and they complain about how annoying i am. also it makes me fucking horny. but YMMV man you gotta try it yourself to see what it does.

this is the most important bit though, if life sucks you'll get addicted. also YMMV though because i've known people who do it everyday and you couldn't tell, they're functional and get shit done. i was the opposite. of course once you're addicted it stops being as fun as well with tolerance and that. i haven't done it at all this year cause i haven't felt like it with how boring it got. i'll hop back on soon though.
