you do not actually need to know japanese to teach english in japan, the only thing you need is a university degree and no criminal or mental health records. They will usually put you in the middle of nowhere. If you want to land in a big city like Tokyo or Osaka you'd need to get in with a private school which is much more connections-based.

In Asia, they hire English speaking assistants to help teach English. English classes usually involve a language immersion session. This happens at both public and private schools. That's how they teach English over there. You're just a glorified English speaking robot over there, but it pays the bills if you want to do some traveling.

I think official therapy is a meme, and you would get better benefits from just talking to someone that isn't being paid to listen to you. I can't imagine sharing my feelings with a woman unless they were romantic. I couldn't reveal my insecurities or problems to a random roastie.

you cant google a kanji easily, but if a menu has kanji written in hiragana and you know it, then you can translate that using your phone so you know what you're ordering.
