You can press one (1) button. choose wisely
Putting all my chips on black boss
I guess greed. Don't hurt anybody and no strings attached. None of them were really all that attractive though desu
>not wanting to go full Groundhog Day and get a ton of freebie years to learn languages, watch movies, master skills and shit
BBB
(Big black button)
i was gonna press envy but then i saw sloth but then i saw pride
i just really want to cheat death
I graduated last May and have been a NEET since I returned stateside 6 months ago. Every day is the same and it gets tiresome. Don't enjoy anything really either anymore so no passions to pursue. Applied for a working visa abroad but it'll be a while to hear back... I don't want the groundhog day, user.
Pride - Purple.
Godhood, here I come.
>Pride
I love my life as it is but this would be a chance to create ever more glorious paradises filled with beings capable of true love and happiness.
The black button definitely
You do realize the green button can also make you immortal? You can just keep swapping to new bodies and learning / doing whatever the fuck you want forever (unless you're killed suddenly with no chance to swap to someone else who isn't in danger). Since you gain access to all of their memories, you could actually learn tons of new things instantly with every swap. Plus in a groundhogs day scenario, new things to consume would never come out. You'd run out of shit eventually. You also couldn't do anything that required physical progress like a long video game.
Black didnt even look at the rest
Envy sounds good.
There would probably be some nasty psychological effects from taking so many different people's memories into your head though. A couple of years in you've got several dozen lifetimes worth of things bouncing around in your head, you'd probably start to lose track of who "you" are.
Envy. Immortal and a memory stealing pretty gir(s). Rip old me, you're getting put down along with your entire family.
Definitely Sloth. I get to do anything I want to without repercussions because things will just reset after a day. Impulses I'd never dream of doing otherwise. Not only that, but I'd never have to worry about money again. I'd just set a loop the day before powerball numbers were declared, loop back and buy the winning numbers. Even if someone else got the numbers too, splitting a multi-million jackpot with someone is not bad at all.
What a fucking boss
Your ego is pointless and pathetic.
Pride anons and the ones that would go insane.
But without your ego you'd lose sight of why you wanted Envy in the first place. You'd just be a weird bodysnatcher Gestalt consciousness.
Purple all the way. Would it come with immortality, or would I eventually just disappear from existence?
Greed is the easy, no downsides choice. Gluttony and lust are cool but Greed's upsides of essentially limitless financial freedom would enable me to obtain as much of those two as I could handle anyway.
Im stuck between blue, pink, and orange. Status is everything. If I had to choose, blue. Because eben if I dont use it greedily, ill still live a good life with no job or responsibilites. It would be a perfect life.
You realize you don't get the money from a lottery ticket the fucking day you buy it right? The money is given out in small payments over time, and even then like I said, you don't instantly receive the money. You have to cash it and get it approved and all kinds of shit that takes day if not weeks before you actually see a payout.
But even IF you instantly got all the money, what can you possibly spend the money on within 1 day before time resets? Every expensive thing in the world takes time to be built or shipped to you. You'd never be able to actually use the money on anything.
If you're now going to claim "well I just used the time loop once to get the ticket, then I'll end it" then why the fuck not just choose blue if getting money was your only goal? I swear sloth is the ultimate retard trap in this image, nobody who's answered sloth has actually thought about how it would work.
envy, greed, and gluttony are the only good ones
gluttony > lust because you're in peak physical condition anyways
i'd take gluttony - don't care that much about money and this basically allows you to be a fat fuck but also live as chad
Smash the Despair button with the quickness.
sorry mr FBI Google has all my data already ask them for some
You enjoy what the new ego enjoys. You get to be everyone.
can someone post CYOA's here?
Pride or despair
Ideally pride then despair
But since I can only pick one, I'm gonna have to go with despair, after making peace with the world/universe
Way too many things can go wrong with pride. What if I accidentally make a hellscape full of unhappy beings? I'd be directly responsible for all kinds of stuff that I don't want to be responsible for.
Either pride or sloth. I'd love to be a god, but I imagine it'd get tiring. The upside to sloth is I could Groundhog Day my way into being an ubermensch at everything and get insanely rich through sports betting.
Being a "new" ego is fundamentally the same as dying the way I see it
>all these people who didn't read sloth correctly and realize it can only be used one time ever
Well I can't say it isn't appropriate you didn't take the time to read properly and think about this well enough.
ORANGE ORANGE ORANGE
>loop back to before you pushed the button
Black without a shadow of a doubt.
I've long fantasized about disappearing but deep down I know I would never do it because I have obligations/family etc. I just don't want to live and I'm not even "depressed" in the traditional sense.
It doesn't say you can't start another loop, just that you can't start the loop you ended again. If it's a one-time ability then it should specify that you can only start a loop once and that's it.
That would require you to start the loop before you've gained the power to start the loop
>choose pride
>create my own universe
>within this new universe, create my own magical button
>this button has the power to remove the limitation of "no physical interaction with your universe" from me
>create 1 being in the universe to press the button for me
>am now an absolute god with no limitation
but you're not fully new. You get the old ego and new memories. You're still there, although you are diluted. It's very possible that over multiple switches that dilution would be the equivalent of losing yourself and dying but it doesn't make sense to claim that a single switch would change you enough to be the same as death.
You don't consider it death when you go to sleep and wake up slightly different. It's not death when you go through a life changing experience. Presumably you wouldn't consider it death if you received a minor concussion that slightly changed your personality.
If any of those things are equivalent to death in your philosophy, then you believe your self is so fragile that it is meaningless anyway. You're a thing that could blow away in a light breeze, and is certainly lost over the course of a normal year.
But envy does sound dangerous. Maybe a switch is like a 25% death. It would change you.
My question is, what if I switch with someone and then switch back to my old body a month later? Is that allowed? What happens to the soul I ejected and then returned to it's original body. Does it remember my being in there?
I don't want to ditch my prime body permanently but it would be fun to joyride occasionally.
It's clearly one loop only. Why would it specify that you can't restart a loop you've exited? That's obvious; if you could close the loop, wait 2 days then start it again it wouldn't be a loop, it would be unlimited free time travel
>choose pride
>create an identical copy of this universe, including a copy of me and the buttons
>copy of me picks pride
>make their own universe
>because they're me, the universe they make is a copy of my universe which is a copy of this universe
>mfw infinite universes
Imagine if you switched then found out the guy you put in your original body got it killed when you went to switch back
What purpose would that actually serve though.
what purpose does anything serve desu
With an attitude like that maybe Despair is more your speed
This. Pride is literally a chance for infinite creative freedom, like being the benevolent admin on minecraft server that has everything you want forever.
Assuming you never want to play on the server yourself.
I'd absolutely engineer some horrible world-ending calamity every couple hundred years just so I can spawn a prophesied hero to fix it, get my own custom fantasy series going.
I'll take the big black button.
If I can communicate with my creations, then the universe I've created has some physical mechanism I can interact with. That limitation only applies to tards like who want to create a primitive fantasy world instead of a techno-utopia powered by the literal attention of their God.
Hmm I guess the way the description reads I assumed that the soul I put back into my old body believes it is me and basically behaves as me - so it seems like if it gets my old body killed, then I probably would have done the same thing, and I've just successfully avoided death
but even if that soul plays being me slightly differently, the possibility that it gets my body killed is very low. If it happens that's a bummer but it's still worth the ability to joyride. I guess now I just have to fully embrace it and go find the best person possible to jump into.
The only things I'm really worried about losing are my friends, my gf, and my family. Once my prime body is dead maybe I can ingratiate myself to those people again anyway. I mean, I don't like thinking about my gf dating someone else after I'm dead, but I don't want her to just be depressed and pining after me forever. I can probably just go win her over a second time.
Not sure how to get my family back, so that would be pretty tragic, but I can try my best. I could always steal the body of one of my brothers but that's too fucked up, I'd never actually consider it.
Still, I get immortality, so that's worth it.
Just make one planet for the fantasy world and another for the techno utopia
I'll take the purple one. I've read too many fictional novels anyway. Got all the shit mapped out in my mind
Presumably all you can do is appear as a voice in their head or something.
You can create your own ideal world but YOU can never actually get to live in it. All you can do is watch mortals live in it to see how they react to and deal with your creations. The "Bored God fucking with mortals" trope is common for a reason.
Eh. It's not like I'd be choosing envy if I liked myself in the first place.
>nobody took Wrath
Do you know just how much power this brings you? Unless you want to stop existing, Wrath is definitely the best choice. Pride ain't so bad either.
And then make the inhabitants of each aware of the other
See how many are interested in moving
Or have existential crises
Or get mad at you for making them once you burst their bubble
You'd be like legion, you would be the danger.
>we want your soul and body little girl
>yamete
But then... the legion is copied or do you leave the last one full of memory, that is question.
Why go back to your shit hole?
Dispair, everything else is just useless.
greed if even
lust if odd
you get the time loop to live out fantasies and learn whatever you want and then return with enough money forever, it's blue +1
pride would be lonely Ill take greed and invest the money into technology that can improve humanity like biohydrogen 8====D
Every other choice than pride is a brainlet choice deserving this sad world. One could be a god in created universe, created rules, one could even create second god to save sanity and exist forever without human worries or flaws.
The only choice from the rest that isnt so low is the envy but flaws already have beed discussed earlier.
But you choose that you get money for your pathetic lifetime. Or that other pathetic bags of flesh want to fuck you in the ass. That is why the humanity is sure to be doomed.
The pride button sounds like the most fun and greed button is second best.
>ctrl f wrath
>only one result
My nigga.
I don't really want any of these, but wrath would be incredibly fun to have. I'd have a lot of travel and sightseeing to do.
>Take sloth
>Loop back to before you press button
>Take another one
>Repeat
>End it all with taking despair because its not worth living in the first place.
IMMA SMASH THAT MUDAFUKKING PURPLE BUTTON
>be inmortal
>be a literal GOD
>mess with peopl's lives, start wars, create silly civilizations
>erase everything and re-create it again
Green, i can become a cute chubby girl i always wanted
Blue. Basically all of my problems stem from the fact that I have to work for money.
Blue ez
How would you make a time loop though after you already pressed a button
>take sloth
>loop back time to before I pressed the button
>take sloth
>loop back time to before I pressed the button
>take sloth
>loop back time to before I pressed the button
>take despair because you Realized that your plan was a failure
Pride easily. Only retards would pick anything else.
