Yeah I'm taking it now, but I was incorrect, you can only do a Mensa IQ test once chosen as being 'gifted', however the one that my professor told me is as accurate as it gets is this one: arealme.com/iq/en/

This is weird, I got my IQ tested professionally when I was a kid and I scored 139. I've taken two online tests one scored me a 139, this one scored me 140.
I don't know how they are so accurate when the professional test was so much more rigorous.

The last I did gave me 136. i usually fall in those lines at the tests, so i am quite confident its somewhat aaccurate.

I just took it again and answered randomly and got 60 (GW Bush). Remember, however, what this is testing is mostly pattern recognition, and it isn't a comprehensive test. Also I got bored by the end of it and answered "I don't know" to a couple of the last ones.

Why would it be? YOu could give an IQ 85 guy all the time in the world, he still won`t be able to score above his level and solve difficult puzzles.

I tried many diffrent ones, the last one just yesterday with a friend. Btw I did not do the OP test.
My friend got about the same to what he did professionally a few years back.
I seems to be improving on my IQ, or the one I did as a kid was bad, because I was having a headache at that time.

But most people dont feel intelligent, they just think that every one around them is stupid.

I've been professionally tested and refuse knowing. Certain sort of self-knowledge potentially engenders egoism, egotism, vainglory, laziness and much else which worsens a person.

I tested for the gifted program in school using these sort of IQ questions. Passed to the 2nd round with 2 other boys, and from there only the gook got in. I figure I am probably around 130ish.

Any online IQ test that pretends to measure IQ from 0 to 200 is bound to be BS imo.

You have to divide your result by two to get your real IQ score.

I got 160, and timing your answers lets you modify the results to be more accurate. The guy who gets all the questions right in 10 mins is obviously higher IQ than the guy who takes 10 mins per question because he looks each up online.

I got 160, but again, this test is worthless. I doubt I'm above 115 or so.

It asks you some personal questions at the end of the test, and it may correct your result.
For example I have dyslexia, which causes me to underperform on the language part, which in general would pull down the general score, unless you correct for it.
Most cheap internet IQ tests leave out the language part for this reason.

I had testing similar to South African earlier in thread for different clinical purposes taking place from early childhood into adulthood. No choice of mine but entirely my choice not to have set of numbers hanging over mind in every action I take.

It's not an online test. If i remember correctly, user said that the test took him 3 days with a certified psychologist. And he just took a pic of his result.
