Second, mention jury nullification but be smart. Don't be fucking retarded about it and just go hurr durr jury null can I leave now? Actually relate it to the case. Mine was with a motorcyclist getting injured, and I said I hated bikers. That got me off.

I just ignore jury summons. I've gotten like maybe 2 or 3 of them in the past couples years, I've never replied to a single one or showed up to court. Nothing bad has happened to me.

Wear a MAGA hat and bring one of those heavy duty Pelican camera type cases. When the bailiff says "sir, please remove your hat" open the case and place the hat inside with the custom black foam that fits the hat perfectly then close the case and lock it.

I've gotten out of jury duty twice by just telling the woman handing out the clipboard & pens that its really inconvenient for me as I don't have reliable transportation. They were nice about it and I was out of there in 5 mins.

Got called into jury duty for domestic violence case. They cycled through like 8 people on the panel because they kept crying because they knew someone who was a victim of domestic violence.

My company pays for 5 days of jury duty and this case would only take the week, so I went with it. Listened to evidence of this guy and a girl at a bar arguing, they get into a scuffle outside the bar. Police are called, we get to listen to the police call log of these low life arguing. The girl said she'd call the cops because she knew the guy had priors and they'd lock him up.

Both the girl and guy testified, the girl said she lied to the cops to get the guy in trouble. It was basically a cakewalk of "not guilty" from there since that's more than enough reasonable doubt.

Side note, if you're dating someone in California and you touch them non-violently and they get annoyed, it legally can be a misdemeanor of domestic battery. Law is fucked
