Everything responds like that in the Universe. Automatically to anything to interacts with it. What you desire is specifically a depth of though, that would match your own. What you have to realize though, to be where you are requires a fundamental similarity to what drove you to such depths. Many, many intellectually oriented people come to hate the simple, because they are too simple. I love that they live fantastical stories resembling that of characters. I can slip in poetic truths to them nimbly, that they pick up on. But only think about by happenstance later on in their lives. I really have come to love them for their simpleness. It's frustrating to debate with a rock, as it never stops being a rock. So just appreciate what the rock is doing so you do not rage against it.

I wouldn't recommend it, it can be deadly. But jokes aside. Try meditation, it helped me a lot. You have to stick with it though. Just like with medicine. The first few times don't really feel like anything. Or you feel slightly worse. But it does get better.

Perfect example of the kind of stupidity and inane automaton type response that I'm sick of dealing with. This person has a programmed response to certain stimuli. That's it. Its almost eerie how well it fits into the example I was making.

The thing is, I feel like I've already done all the work of really thoroughly thinking out a certain concept. Sometimes I post on here and other forums and people say they are really impressed with the reasoning and research I have done for my theories. I could accept someone not agreeing if they would just try to respect the amount of effort and thinking I've actually done on the subject instead of replying in these inane ways. There have been more times than I can count where I post three paragraphs explaining a theory to someone, and then they respond with a single sentence that is an obviously programmed talking point that I, in-fact addressed in my response to them.

The problem then seems. Not to be an agreement. But a sharing of passion. Which means you will have to look around for proper debate. For you are looking for a specific community of hobby, at a specific level of discourse. The more you want a specific level of interaction, the more you have to search for it. The problem is, for example.
A man cares a lot about animals, but wants to talk to people who don't care about them. He is astounded at their lack of information about animals. He is angry at the amount of effort he put in to the subject. But his folly, was that he was confronted by indifference. Which breeds ignorance. This man, for a proper debate. Should have instead spoken to people who hated animals at an intellectual level. For they would know all about what they hated so passionately.

Its funny but you are absolutely correct. The problem is that its important to change the minds of the indifferent as well because often times the indifferent are unaware of the harm they are causing by being indifferent to the subject. By being indifferent and just going along with the most normal line of thinking, they have no idea how much suffering they cause. When I try to tell them, they either try to deny they are causing it in anyway or claim that the suffering they are causing is justified without thinking at all about the consequences of their actions.

Even if that's true, we cannot accept too much subjectivity because subjectivity often leads to libertine thinking that essentially posits that everybody can just do whatever they want and damned be the consequences to anyone else. I guess then I am saying we cannot just throw all our mutual agreements out the window under the idea that because something is a subjective interpretation, that means it is automatically invalid.

that is the reality though, just most people don't do it. most of us have agreed upon a certain way for Our Society to be and anything counter to that is seen negatively,usually.
but there is no book, there is no hard truth and law. it really is mostly all subjective and mutual.

Your thought process is not far at all from the outward behaviors of others you complain of.
Big thoughtful developed arguments lead to entrenched confidence, and that confidence leads to arguments becoming hollow attempts at convincing others with no core of continuing to think critically of the subject itself. If no one can be convinced, the big hollow tiresome discussion eventually collapses. The little remnants may be seen and naively assumed to have always been so small, something that never developed.

If you want to get satisfying answers and then move on in life, let your argument develop as described, to the conclusion of collapse. "Know" you're "right", and don't bother talking about it so much anymore if others can't be helped.
If you want to inflate a discussion for as long as possible, share your points thoroughly while remaining critical of them. Or at least fake a display of remaining critical of them. The opposition will think they can convince you, keeping their side of the discussion from collapsing.
