It works for a time. Idk how to describe it... I hate every single aspect of my life, while vidya simply distracts me from that, CGDGT anime actually makes me feel good for a while. That's why I mainly watch SoL/comedy. Even though I can appreciate other stuff like Eva for its theme and it taking on topics I could relate to while watching, stuff like K-on is what makes me watch Anime in the first place. A shame I sometimes have to force myself to stop watching yt for 12 hours straight only to watch a single episode of something at this point.
