Here we talk about this marvelous drug called Caffeine. How many mgs do you use to take and how often do you? Any experiences with it in capsule form?

How many cups of coffee could one drink per week(assuming that one cup is the maximum for a day) without building a tolerance

I keep sucking on these. Apparently 4 of them is equivalent to a cup of coffee.

its a good antidepressant. im coping with it right now.

anything that stims you up and allows you to channel your thoughts towards something is good. it beats drowning in them and suffering, anything to cope.

I add cinnamon when I cold brew my coffee. It adds enough flavor where I don't need to add sugar. I brew about 6 cups every other day. I enjoy it black with little ice. During the winter I just drink an absured amount of black coffee.

If I have less than 200 mg a day I feel quite bad, though 320 is my average. It hardly even acts as a stimulant anymore, just use it as an antidepressant.

I have been using caffeine pills for a few years now, can give you some pros and cons OP
PROS:
-more control over dosage than drinks (can break the 200 mg pills in half or even quarters)
-can be crushed up and added to drinks that don't normally have caffeine (fizzy water, OJ, whatever)
-faster/more efficient consumption
CONS:
-not as satisfying as SIPS or hot coffee in the morning or iced coffee on a hot day
-also a caffeine pill "feels" slightly different than a caffeinated drink, I guess digests differently?

Right now I use about 400 mg per day, but when I was working nights it was more like 700+.
Also you guys should try taking L-theanine with caffeine, kind of takes the edge off and helps you focus.

I stopped using caffeine regularly because It was giving me these psychotic fantasies where I would imagine mutilating people or myself being mutilated. Like fingers being cut off or being sawed in half. After going off caffeine for a week these fantasies went away. I went totally caffeine free for a year and a half, but now I use caffeine (10mg>) a couple times a week right before going into the gym.

I drink coffee, one strong cup in the morning and a few weak cups throughout the day. I used to like energy drinks until I realized that, unlike coffee, they make me feel worse once the buzz wears off.

Sometimes my coffee tastes like shit and sometimes it tastes great, even though I always make it the same way. I bought a kitchen scale and a timer to hopefully nail some of the variables

With the amount that I drink I don't feel that I've built a tolerance even after years of daily consumption

I used to drink ridiculous amounts of black tea back in the day. Something around 1.5 liters of black tea, brewed really really strongly. Then I switched to fucking Red Bull and then I stopped all caffeine altogether. Then I wondered why I had so much brainfog, huh. I'm a fucking idiot. Anyway, I'd take a shitton of black tea everyday and I think I should start doing that again. It fucking feels like a mild caffeine or something.

Interesting. I try to limit it to like 3 cups in a week, or not overdo it. I usually just drink it when I have an exam in the morning and I didn't sleep at all

I used to take like 3 Red Bulls a day until I started vomitting violently then I stopped all caffeine altogether and have had brainfog since then. That sugar is harmful.

Monster is more like a restless energy, where I HAVE to get up and move around because I just can't sit still. Useful for certain situations but mostly I find it unpleasant.

Even though I am gonna get horribly sick some day, I drink around 1 liter of energy drink per day. sometimes a bit more. So a few hundred mg i suppose

It makes me feel gross about myself and my habit when I read people getting jittery or feeling anxiety off of like a cup of coffee or a Monster. I take 200 mg of caffeine. 37.mg mg of ephedrine, 300 mgs of DXM, and like 6-8 grams of kratom within an hour of waking up everyday, if not multiple times per day. By the end of the day on average I've probably taken around 600 mgs of caffeine, 50 mgs ephedrine, 1000-1800 mgs of DXM, and 20 grams of kratom, and most likely a can of 4Loko Gold to get to sleep with a couple benadryls. I've been so far removed from "normal" social interaction and life experience that I can't even imagine what the average person's day to day mindset and headspace is like. For the past few years I've been in this surreal disconnection from reality. But yeah caffeine rules.

12 oz. coffee grounds are smallest packages you can get. If you use 3-4 tablespoons for each cup (and that's for 1 at a time) that's enough grounds for 2 cups a day for a week. And after a week the grounds and creamer will start to go bad so you'd want to finish it around then. So that's the practical decision but a tolerance would develop no matter what.

If you went over 2 cups a day you would build up a tolerance quickly but going over 2 cups a day most likely means you have excessive urges to keep drinking it.

Buying grounds is also a lot cheaper than getting it from the store so if you get it from there you should probably just have 1 cup a day. Grounds also seem weaker even though you can get the same brand.

A slight tolerance will happen no matter what, but if you drink way to much the tolerance will get so bad that you won't feel anything.

Can somebody tell me how do I make coffee that doesn't taste like burnt bitter ass? Even with that fancy french press thing.

How am I supposed to brew tea the right way? I just take a huge amount of leaves and throw it into a boiling pot on the stove. Am I doing it right lmao?
