Chain pizza is complete shit. Homemade is fine. Add some veggies to your homemade to make it even better for you. A few spinach leaves goes a long way.

If you make your own (the base included its superior to store bought crap and easy as fuck to do) then i dont see how there would be anything bad about it. If youre talking about the americanised 'za then its terrible and i would advise you to avoid it like with all shitty processed garbage.

Italian pizza is still caloric af, especially since they tend to add more olive oil to it compared to foreign pizzas. Even just a basic normal sized pizza margherita typically has around 1k calories. With some topping like the one in OP's pic the calories would probably be >1.5k.

In the long term, an occasional dirty meal won't hurt your overall fitness, but I try to avoid a huge "cheat day" on something like pizza because if I've been eating clean otherwise the sudden onslaught of grease and bread will make me bloated and sick.

add veggies and meat toppings
replace tomato paste from crushed fresh tomatoes
switch to a less oily cheese/reduce cheese
It'll still look like pizza but with better macros
