I've never really taken a look at these threads, mind filling me in?

not a real /m3s/ just mad at this trash shit

look for !3DPrint3es in the archives for gist

alright thanks, its calm now thankfully since the mods are asleep it seems, it will probably start again tomorrow though sadly

yeh, I have exams then tho, but only maymester crap. ill set up a set to print in the morning.

what do you want printed, I'm looking into better painting methods for more models down the line.

hmm maybe you can do marisa mini hakkero if possible

Attached: 7e900554ed9928da38350e259a71e15f_preview_featured.jpg (628x472, 433K)

Nice satanic trips, it is sad that the mods are doing what they're doing.

sure, there are a few methods to set this up

Attached: 1503616454991.png (683x728, 105K)

any way is fine and thanks in advance

print a duck.

Attached: purest duck.jpg (300x290, 9K)

Print the duck, but with Cirno-wings added onto it!

sure

If that's a mini hakkero, than what's a full-sized one like?

Is that Comic Sans?

yes

Attached: 1496965755155.png (189x119, 40K)

Bump!

And again.

Can you print legos?

I have!

they feel like the cheap ones from 2007

If it doesn't have the logo, it's not a Lego.

Don't you mean Mega Bloks?

Megs aren't terribly low quality compared to several other off-brand LEGO. Try anything from China and you can feel the lighter quality in the bricks, which is funny as China also manufactures actual LEGO and does minifigs better than Denmark.

I'm meaning the no logo, unbleached, brittle plastic ones

Attached: 1508384786943.png (1920x1050, 586K)

Do you use modeling glue to assemble these?

I assume so, the cut files have them in pieces

Good satanic digits, and what type of plastic is used?

An improvement. Also, nice double trips!

FUCKING DONT
I DO NOT WANT MY WHOLESOME FUCKING DUCK TO HAVE GAY ASS ANIME SHIT ON IT.

I WOULD LITERALLY RATHER YOU PUT A DILDO ON THE BACK OF THE DUCK THAN CHINO WINGS.

PLA, cheap and brittle.

*triple trips

ok, no wings on duck 1, duck 2 can have wings

printing finally will begin in a bit, phone has been crashing for photos

Attached: yep.jpg (1078x775, 93K)

ready to go, ill print with gold and paint/ glue up final parts

Attached: 1498081033913.png (1146x799, 952K)

Chino is an anime character, Cirno is vidya.

Never change, horse dick user.

printing well

Attached: 1521138123767.jpg (556x988, 132K)

A lot less bumpy than usual

Turning out good

Same.

got some paints/ thinners, everything printed fine

Can't wait to see it painted!

Hakkero needs the main box to be a little bigger for everything to fit the tolerances, will reprint.

done, got some paint for box, maybe I could at least prime this thing too, but don't have any idea what colors to use for painting these figures.

any brown/ light brown/ black/ white color combos/mixes I could do for this? if anything I could go dalmatian...

Attached: 1526005268375.jpg (1757x988, 123K)

Can you print shrek?

yeh

That almost looks like it's Epic scaled.

it is! thingiverse.com/thing:2357097

most 3d models for this stuff are easier to find in epic scale

I want you to see and try printing Cirno down in army-man scale, like the kind you find as a cheap plastic toy, complete with a base for her feet. Optionally giving her a gun.

Attached: 1523284537313.jpg (600x800, 432K)

Cool.

Just paint it like a solid dark red metal tank with slightly differentiated metallic secondary colors.

very nice

I made a model for that awhile ago, should try to update it

Attached: 1522523803129.png (597x573, 202K)

You can get pretty detailed with these, though I also heard that it's possible to ease the painting through swirling them in a special paint mix post-priming.

Attached: 1522786360136.jpg (300x200, 14K)

bump

Can you print one of those boxy 40s era toy robots?

I like it!

sure, currently painting the tiny model, will set up next tray for printing in a little while

IDK, I probably won't get as detailed as that guy but I'm trying to get some sort of color on there.

worked with the primer, paint looks like shit

Attached: 1496082607281.jpg (1757x988, 139K)

Eyy, for the paint don't forget to thin it.

I did, not the issue with my painting skills

What brand of paint are you using?

You need a smaller brush.

cheapo acrylic, tracks and airbrush paint base coat worked great, but the dirt specks looked weird and ruined it

very true

Attached: 1512241256285.jpg (1757x988, 132K)

Hmm. It did look promising, but maybe it can be salvaged? Look up how to apply camo in layers.

Maybe you can get different versions with different guns. Or at least print out one and put it next to a bunch of other army figurines for comparison.

down the line this is probably what ill do

boop

Can you print a fat dragon?

sure, currently making a dildo wing duck, cirno duck, shrek, cirnogun, robut, reprint parts plate for printing.

nice trips

print looks ready to go

Attached: 1497685652901.png (584x475, 331K)

cool

What if you printed the robot in parts so that you can assemble it together into a jointed toy?

its designed for vase mode

...

Checked.

Attached: 1509208300082.jpg (358x344, 30K)

yay make me something

Can you print a cirno with a shrek head?

I can...

Perhaps the better question is "should you"? Wouldn't want to ogreload r_banter...

everything is printing well

Attached: 1520995847543.jpg (1757x988, 167K)

And gluing well!

press fit, only glued the lid together

I have to paint it first

Attached: 1524672258562.jpg (1757x988, 193K)

Checking digits!

looks pretty good desu

Attached: 2.png (489x474, 240K)

I'm liking the Cirno, they end up coming out more and more intact with each revision it seems.

Nobody is checking these digits, and it's making me sad.

Also these

I like now no one noticed the primer bottle melted

Bump!

oh snap

What kind of primer are you using for the plastic?

I have been using automotive primer cuz it sands well and literally vapor smooths the plastic cuz acetone. also sticks better than my old prints.

I bought some new acrylic primer to hopefully prevent the paint containers from melting and having to spray into a container (no filler primer is in liquid form it seems) I dont like this acrylic primer but since the prints are just big prisms, there is no layer artifacts to smooth.

the secret dick duck is staring at me

Attached: 1508971818329.jpg (556x988, 32K)

What's you're secret to not having artifacts everywhere?
