I've been thinking about drawing a comic book, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm abysmal at drawing and I don't think anyone even reads comics anymore.

Really nicely done. The groovy bass line is just great. The distorted guitar part fit surprisingly well with the rest of the song. Good work.
Web comics still get read as far as I'm aware. But you're probably gonna have a hard time getting an audience since that market, like most, is very oversaturated. I'd say do it anyway if you like doing it. Even if it's just for yourself to practice drawing and writing.

Drew this yesterday. I meant to make something deep but it came out looking like necrophiliac gay anal rape, but still the best thing I've drawn yet so idk if I want to scribble it out or not. I have to draw something better today now or else it will remain the best thing in my book.
I wanna make comics too, but I realized I still don't know how to draw proper backgrounds, draw at different angles, and position things properly. Also one of the most popular boards on this site is about comics

I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention.But you've had the wrong mindset from the getgo. You don't do creative things because you intend to get an audience or get famous and what not. You do them because you want to, because you've got something to express that you need to get out of your head or because you just want to do something other than jerking off and playing vidya. Besides, you can always try to game the system and for example leech off the success of other people by getting their attention on twitter or what have you. Come on, try it anyway. What do you have to lose?

Originally to get feedback and advice. I'm not saying that getting attention and positive feedback for your creative work isn't very nice, because it is, but it shouldn't be the sole motivator. It's just a fact of life that getting an audience is hard, although it's arguably easier today, however that shouldn't deter you from trying. It's a tired old phrase but nothing good in life comes easily

I also got back my little videogame, I keep getting stuck for a day in one stupid problem, animating the knife was hell.
I also made a bar that shows the dash and bomb recharge, I was thinking of using a sprite that shows the ability that changes color based on how charged it is, but that's going to be complicated, since I have to use shaders, shaders have a much more complicated language.
Oh I still don't have a name for the game, any suggestions?

I'd say you two should just do it, the bar for art in web comics is set pretty low anyway. Plus it's pretty good art desing, your style looks really cool. Don't worry about these handicaps you can find a way to mask these if you're smart about the paneling.

what that user said also you can use quickposes.com/en to practice anatomy. dont worry about the speed or anything, just pick a pose and copy it the best you can. dont think about the details; only the outlines and the shape of the body. you can do it, just keep practicing!
