Lol don’t bother
People here don’t know what fitness is

They think lifting weight means they are fit

A few months ago I put on my running shoes and ran a mile and managed just under 7 minutes

What's the point in running only a mile?

No I can't. I can't possibly think of a scenario that will require me to run a mile in under 7 minutes.

Looks like someone’s gonna get run down by a pack of melanin-enriched folk when the race war starts

Tfw when you can run a 5:30 mile and can also can 1.5/2.5/3/4

I can't even run for 7 minutes.

Attached: 15663340403.jpg (503x443, 60K)

Why would I run when I collect assault weapons for fun and profit?

7 minute mile is like bench pressing 135

A mile in 7 minutes isn't even that fast, I managed to do that after only running a couple of weeks.

Back in high school I could break into high 5 minute miles if I was committed to throwing up afterward. 6:45 ws cake walk. Now I'm 38 and I just walk for an hour and a half every morning. No clue what my mile time would be. Probably not pretty.

You are like a little baby

5km in 20 mins

because 1 guy with gun will lose to 20 people with guns

I can run a 7m kilometer.

I ran around low 6, high 6 in high school. Does that count?

4:17 actually thanks for asking

I dunno, I usually jog or cycle instead.

>7 minute mile
Lmao, what the fuck? That's piss-easy and I ran that pace for 10 miles just three days ago.

I’ve been running two mile warmups for the past four months and I could never break 14:20. I stopped to once a week since I’m trying to bulk but that shot never gets easy. My only goal of improving speed was to get it over faster

Of course, I jump 1 mile thanks to my quad strength accumulated from squatting.
Air resistance is my main limitation.
What about you faggot, how fast do you complete 100 reps of 5 bodyweight squats? Oh wait you can't.

Ran 1.5 in 9:35 during my last PT test. So close to maxing it out - I need to cut another 20 seconds off but I want to get bigger.

>You may be able to run a 7 minute mile but can you squat 200kg?

Post proof

You either are a richfag or dint know the actual definition of assualt rifle

1 person running away also loses to 20 people with guns

I can run a 5 minute mile, a seven minute mile is fatty tier

I ran a mile around park yesterday at 6:46. Very happy with that.

New balance nationals Saturday June 14 final heat I forget my bib # but I came in sixth in my heat

All blue outfit

No. It takes me 8

The vid is online

Not if you have proper strategy and fortifications. Although endurance is important if for some reason you fail.

Of course. Is that meant to be a challenge?
Are there people on here who can't?

most people on Jow Forums don't do cardio.

Come back when you graduate High School.
Pretty silly for you to post all your info like that.

That's a fair comparison

>tfw I can only rep 135
>tfw I can feel all of the broskis in the gym looking at me when I bench
I'm trying guys

14:00 Two mile bitch

Attached: hw5.png (1920x1080, 1.15M)

No, why would I be able to do that ?

Can you pilot a submarine ?

this kek

dank, mirin if true

Running on a treadmill is weird. I never feel safe going into a full jog so I just go for distance.

I used to be able to run 1.5 miles in 10 minutes.

I can do that10 times in a row without stopping and I'm not even fast

Of course, I do 10km in 45:20.

>7 min mile
I can run a half mile at 5 min/mile pace, but then burn out. How close am I?

>implying I can run at all with my hammed up hips and lower back caused by going from sedentary to adding weights to barbell squats every day

not him but no one really cares

Gonna make it

>describes a random person in a video
>"shouldn't post all your info"
user pls

Bruh a 7 minute mile is so fucking slow, if you can't do it you're pathetic lmao.

>Not speedwalking a mile in 6 minutes
Ngmi

He said mile, not kilometer

One guys 7 minute mile is slower than a car driven by a bigger u dummy

>not being in a time deficit when you run a mile
my time is -7 minutes. get on my level

Attached: T-Pose on ya.jpg (750x400, 38K)

Maybe. I ran 7:05 the other day, but it was humid and I did it on hills. If I was in ideal conditions, definitely

isn't the average for males like 6:20 or something?

Who /babyrun/ here?

What kind of trouble are you in that's still trouble a mile away?

Isnt 7min mile slow? Everone can do that

Why wouldn´t you just strap him to your back instead at that point.
Like, that can´t be safe, it´ll probably flip.

40min 10k

The bumping up and down during running would upset the baby

Did it during a 1 mile time trial I did 5 months ago.

depression

That guy needs to work on lowering his vertical oscillation. That is a major waste of energy on par with overstriding and heel striking.

You may run a 7min mile, but can you do a 13 second 100m dash?

People do this shit all the time. None of what guys said occurs except if you are doing literal in the middle if nowhere trails with tree roots and rocks.

Red pill me on running form, I've been running a mile as fast as possible every Saturday. 9:07, 8:45 and now 8:20 this week.
Trying to keep shoulders down and relaxed, breathe with diaphragm, relaxed jaw, arms below 90 degrees and a slight forward lean
How to open up my stride without overstriding?

It's doable with some endurance training, but if you don't run regularly, you probably won't be able to do it.

>except if you are doing literal in the middle if nowhere trails with tree roots and rocks.
Thats about the only trails there are near me. And highways.

Overstriding is you landing too far ahead of your center of gravity. You have to take the time to develop your kinesthetic awareness. Take the time to consciously look at how your foot is landing on each time you run. It should be landing beneath you. This allows you to more quickly go into your next step.

If you are already doing this, you have nothing to worry about since you will most likely not be heel-striking. If you want to loosen yourself up more, do some weighted walking lunges into your regular lifting routine, as this will help open up many of the muscles involved in running. Then, before your run, do unweighted walking lunges as a part of your warm-up.

kek

Recently did a 5:50 mile coming back from an injury. Need to shave off 30 seconds, double my bench and gain 10kg to get back to where I was at the start of the year. Injuries truly are the worst gains goblins.

>the Chad is more of a stick figure than the virgin

A 7 minute mile is not difficult and it isn't useful either, unlike being able to sprint 100m in 12secs or less.

>do some weighted walking lunges into your regular lifting routine, as this will help open up many of the muscles involved in running
I'll probably do this, I tried Fartlek a few months ago and pulled my hamstring when sprinting. Probably the lack of mobility you've described

Chad is not a body composition, its a state of mind

Can you think of a scenario where you're required to lift hundreds of pounds for reps?
No. We do both for the same reason: it makes us better and it makes us fit.

A unilateral independent state of mind

yes

Attached: 513zZB8XFRL._SX322_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg (324x499, 30K)

The next time you fuck will be that scenario. Your ability to run correlates to the bedroom. You not being able to even last a bare minimum 7 minute mile="Sorry babe, too tired now. You're gonna have to be on top" "Already? But that was just like a few minutes!"While the man who can run a marathon can last all night. He's doing all the positions without being tired.
Of course lifting plays its part as well. Your arm and core strength is whats used when you're on top and prone. You're gonna have to be strong if you wanna lift her while fucking her. But majority of that fucking is gonna come from your core and endurance. Something that running will definitely help in.

>not 80/20 Running
The barefoot and minimalism meme gas long past. It only helps if you've been doing it all your life or if you need to learn proper form.

I do not have the mental fortitude to run any distance nor posses knees that can handle running. My family has a history of knee problems on my father's side.

no way bro i'm strong and big not small and fast

You're absolutely right user.
The problem for a lot of these guys is that the next time they fuck will also be the first time they fuck, so they've never even considered this.
Meanwhile they also hold 2 false beliefs that 1) gains guarantee sex and 2) cardio kills gains, so they avoid the cardio that would improve their sex under the delusion that they're increasing the likeliness of sex.
It's almost delicious layers of stupidity we're dealing with here on this "fitness" site.

I ran a 4:18 on the 1500. I was a sprinter at the time. Proving yet again training for strength trumps training for endurance.

Why not do both? Just doing one, whether its just running or lifting is bad. Both are necessary

Then you should run to protect knees

>being this stupid

lol. Or you just had good endurance at the time considering it's more aerobic than anaerobic.

But running ruins knees.

20 min 5k and 1/4 ton deadlift in the same week earlier this year. I was pretty proud of that.

I just tried a 7 minute mile and ended up running a 6:45

Th...thanks, OP

>150lb friend who smokes and never exercises at all can do a 6:30 mile easily
>180lb me can barely pull off 7:30 even though I run 25 miles a week

I guess it's cut season after all.

Attached: 1560050539365.png (523x548, 273K)

Yes. Yes I can. Next question please OP.
