For those of us who are no longer in college, what is your local gym like?
I used to go to a Ymca that was in an old building, but had a nice pool. The locker rooms looked like what I imagine prison showers are like, but there were lots of very 90's sports posters all around the building which gave it a nice retro flair.
The new Ymca that I go to is in a nicer building, and the equipment is better but there are a bunch of Jesus posters and advertisements for weekly prayer groups. It's lame.
Maybe about 5% niggers, certainly less than 10%. Still too many though. I thought this area was better than that.
Cheap, lots of squat/diddly stations. The plate loaded Hammer Strength machines, hilariously big dumbbell rack, I think they go up to 150. Lap pool and sauna. Comfy spin classes with the cardio bunnies and the boomers. I like it a lot, I'd give it an 8/10 at least.

I go to an Anytime. Apart from the occasional thot, the place is pretty good if you use the free weights that take up roughly a third of the gym. Word of advice for anyone who ends up in one - bring your own music. Anytime Fitness' corporate playlist will drive you to an inhumane rage with its generic dance club music and negress monkey-howling.
I go to Crunch in a hipster part of Brooklyn. >15 bucks a month >nice building >squat racks always empty because everyone is on the bikes >free weights floor always empty because everyone is doing cardio upstairs >floor to ceiling windows so girls are always 'miring from the street Okay, that last part was a lie but the rest is all true. Based basedfags inadvertently creating the perfect gym.
