Skyr, greek yoghurt, cottage cheese - these tend to be 10+ g protein per 100 g. My last cut ended up at 1600kcal with 200+ grams of protein. For instance, 50 grams of protein from 500 grams of fat free greek yoghurt, clocking at just ~350 kcal. Easy and filling. I had some whey too, I didn't wanna be eating yoghurt the whole day, though.
Lentils, other legumes
Eggs - I'm not a big fan due to the high fat content. But you can also just buy egg whites cheap, in tetrapacks meant to be used for cooking.
Peanut butter - also high fat, but great for a bulk and very filling.
Seitan - if you can stand gluten, this is probably the cheapest meal ever if you make it yourself. You just need half a kilo of flour, which is like 30 cents, and some patience. Shit is like 70% protein, no carbs, no fat. Basically, make a lump of flour. Then, keep gently squeezing it and massaging it under water, alternating hot and cold, until the water stops becoming white (from starch in the flour) and you end up with a gelatinous, hard lump of pure gluten. Fry it, cook it, bake it, steam it. 10/10
Onions products are great, though some hate them due to phytoestrogens, which might or might not act like human estrogen. Honestly? If you're lean, it doesn't matter a bit. All your female hormones are barely present unless you carry significant fat stores. It's completely natural to have some female hormones. Even more, if you're eating at a deficit, maintenance or 200-400 kcal lean bulk surplus, you're not just gonna get tits and curvy hips even if you had a real female hormone therapy, I guess. The real issue is whether these products have complete EAAs, so just eat something else to complete the EAA profile.
