Used to swim competitively as a kid. Every day after school had my coach shouting at me while I just swam laps in an outdoor South african pool. Moved to the UK and the politics in swim clubs here as well as the cost meant my broke parents couldn't continue with it. I got back into it at university and have continued since. On holiday in the Caribbean and saved four people from the weak currents here in two weaks lmao.
