This used to be the health and fitness so I'm gonna ask here. My gums are receding, pic related. It's not that bad but they clearly are, and I'm gonna stop consuming any kind of sugar and try to reduce the consumption on some sources of carbs such as bread and any kind of processed stuff. I will try to get my carbs from low glycemic index sources such as legumes. Do you think that will help me with the receding? Also is there any remedy to gingivitis or whatever the cause of the receding might be? I'm thinking about chewing on garlic daily or something to cleanse my mouth and get rid off of all the bacteria that is causing this. Besides surgery is there any way to reverse the receding?

Eat more vitamin C too just in case
Rough/harsh brushing will damage gums too
I try to brush my teeth softly, I also use a soft brush. Thanks for the advice.
Last bump of hope for myteeth brehs
Use a soft brush with thin bristles. Hard brushes cause receding gums.
Also use an antibacterial mouthwash and floss daily.
Related: I had an implant and nowadays I felt some discomfort around that teeth and I checked and the gum receded on that teeth so I can see the implant root (titanium) - I found out it might be because of food stuck between that teeth (it's in the back) and its neighbor, I started flossing that part more often so now I get the food out and it seemed to get better (now I don't feel that discomfort) should I get it checked or it is normal because of the stuck food could cause some swelling?
>Use a soft brush
Already do that
>Also use an antibacterial mouthwash and floss daily.
Any recommendations for a good brand or are they all the same?
Yeah this happens to me too, I have too much space and cavities between my teeth now and food gets stuck there all the time and it makes the receding even worse.
mirin ur teeth
Thanks breh but they are eventually gonna fall if I keep this up.
Everyone is telling this guy to be gentle then there is you trying him to literally force a piece of string between his teeth and gum line.
Is that bad or what? The dentist always tells me to do that after brushing my teeth
Floss is the difference between ok teeth and healthy teeth, mouthwash is bad at best.
>Any recommendations for a good brand or are they all the same?
Something without alcohol, read instructions because some mouthwashes are for short term use and others for long term depending on active ingredient concentration.
Also: avoid whitening tooth pastes: they are too abrasive and and cause gum reciding too
Floss is garbage because 95% of people can't do it properly. Interdental brushes are far more effective and there is no risk of damaging your gums, the only issue is price but your health is your wealth so just pay it.
>95% of people can't do it properly
What do yoy mean properly?
Floassing isn't rocket science, you just floss the dirt between your teeth, that's it
Nice teeth faggot
Damn those teeth are really symmetrical did you wear braces?
Ok I'm confused
Thanks
No, but maybe I should, one of them is not symmetrical at all and is like turned to the right.
well you're still brushing too hard
do you have tartar on your teeth?
I found some and my dentist took care of it, tartar irritates the gums and causes constant inflammation and receding gums, they will never get better until you get rid of the problem
>antibacterial mouthwash
Enjoy your shit immune system
>Flossing AFTER brushing your teeth
LMFAO
