Dont use other people's numbers on leg press. It's the easiest thing to do partial reps on, and what constitutes a full rep is completely out in the air still.

Lol back when I was 15 going to my local YMCA doing some shit routine where I did random exercises I tried going on the leg press machine. I remember I could do it at Max weight with ease. Haven't done leg press ever since because it sucks. I can squat roughly 3pl8 and I don't even squat anymore because I'm mainly focused on upper body

I consider leg press to be a step above the bitch pad and low bar squat in terms of gayness.

Picking up a 5 pound dumbbell off the ground is 'dangerous' if you do it the wrong way. Same goes for any exercise. If you're not told to not lock your knees out at the top of the movement then it's dangerous.

my best squat is ~240kg. when I tried leg press I did 10pl8 each side for 15 reps using the fullest ROM the machine would let me use

its pretty useless compared to squatting, but can be good if youre injured etc
