Been to the doctor today. I'm about to start treatment that is going to weaken my liver, and the doc said i can't take protein powder while taking the drug because my liver will already have it's hands full.
I don't even look like i lift, just from the top of his head, the first thing he listed was protein powder for possible liver damage, i didn't even ask.
This question is easily answered with a google search, do neck hangs to failure retard

Protein powder isnt necessary for you. Just chose your food a bit smarter, and youll be healthier, eat better food and spend less cash.
I didnt know that p powder is harmfull, but I guess that it is becasue it isnt something the body is used to. It goes straigth through the digestion and all to the liver at the same time. might absolutely be wrong tho.

I don't usually get t from pics and webm but this made my head feel a little fuzzy. I just want to watch a gymnastic girlfriend warmup in front of me. New goal is set.

High protein intake doesn’t normally harm patients livers, but in people with a compromised liver, such as patients with cirrhosis, high protein intake isn’t recommended because your liver may not be able to properly filter the byproducts of protein metabolism.

you're going to take medication toxic enough to damage ur liver? ok... but just eat liver, preferably raw and from a farm.

OP here, the treatment is HRT the doctor said it will effect my liver
hrt stand for hormone replacement therapy and test is included in that not just estrogen

The most common prescription that can overload your liver is an oral antifungal. Like the kind you are going to have to take to get rid of your yellow toenails from showering at the gym. Shower shoes wont save you either.

kinda dumb anyway. many many foods hit your liver harder than a scoop of protein. i hope he has a list of other things to avoid, otherwise, he's just memeing

Oral? Is your doctor retarded? Ask for testogel or injections since topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular application bypasses first pass metabolism in the liver.

This is the only right answer.

Did doc not say anything about alcohol? Idk why he'd mention protein before that
Lucas Martinez
He probably did among other things, but it's the protein powder that caught my ear.
Also it's already known to most psoriasis patients to avoid alcohol he didn't really need to point that out.
