sorry I'm triggered but
America is not a country

Actually I'd like to live in the future, maybe 24th century, in central/eastern Russia
It would probably be post-apocalyptical, but probably fun too
What about you OP?

Anywhere on Earth.

I doubt if mankind will be able to survive that long, to be honest.
For me it greatly depends on the family I would have been born to. Like, being born in a wealthy aristocratic family somewhere in Renaissance France or Italy sounds really tempting, while living there as a peasant... not so much.

honestly the only thing I couldn't live without is art in my opinion. That's why I don't want to live before now, because back then you didn't have access to art as easily as now

Good point, although before the 21 century you had more opportunities for actually creating it. Right now its all going south mostly.

Year 207X

some Germanic or Celtic forest during the beginning of dawn of Rome, I'd like to experience what an everyday life of a big tribal family was like

Attached: 1523524428141.png (347x375, 216K)

Well today it's drowning into an ocean of art, that's true, but new forms of art continue to appear even now I think

I guess their life was pretty rough, but an interesting experience nevertheless. Rome, on the other hand, sounds like a great place to live, especially closer to its heyday.

Yeah, they are, but to me it seems that people are more concerned with creating something new, than making something they actually like or put a part of themselves into. Guess its because art has become more of a commercial thing.

only if you were a white patrician male tho x)

Maybe it's because, in the whole art overflow, to actually get noticed you have to produce something outstanding, original

Yeah, definitely. Being a slave doesn't really sound like much fun.

I guess Republic era would be nice, I'm just not fond of a complicated bureaucratic places where everybody wants to kill you.
many plebes were way richer than some patricians

That is probably the case. Yet, it doesn't sound like a good thing to me. People are creating rediculous things and calling it "original art" just because noone else before them has ever done anything like that. In many cases its just efortless parody of actual art. But then again, thats just my opinion. I can't really say that something isn't art just because it doesn't appeal to me.

Yeah, that does sound like Rome. But that's probably only true for those who wanted to go into politics.

Maybe. meh idk, that whole empire is too complicated for my taste, I seek simple life ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Offtopic question. How's life in Armenia? Always wanted to visit.

Late 19th century Italy because why not

1917
America

I'll ignite a socialist revolution to get rid of the government sending our men to pointless wars.

I guess it's great for tourism but living here can be harsh

Do you think that would be possible in the year 1917?
Well, I have heard a lot of nice things about both Armenia and Georgia. Lots of places to see, great nature. Not sure about life though.

-15,000,000,000 century
the area of pangia that would kinda be croatia today

Yeah, what better time for a revolution than the beginning of the 20th century? They can't send men if they're dealing with a revolution, and just before weapons advance beyond rifles and basic artillery.

The Great Depression wouldn't even happen if American banks weren't giving out loans willy-nilly to profit off the carnage in the short-term.

yeah, basically it's all mountains with old churches, ancient caves, things like that. Not much opportunities outside of Yerevan though, and in some places(like my hometown Gyumri) life can be pretty sad, however people are welcoming. idk, there was this Russian girl who visited last summer - she said she liked it a lot.

Well, the end of the 18th - beginning of the 19th century was pretty good for revolutions too, although the ideas of socialism weren't really that developed yet. I'm just not sure whether american society of 1917 would be able to accamulate enough disconcent among the working class to pull off a successful revolution.

I really hope I get a chance to see more of the Caucasus mountains. So far I have been only to the north, but it doesn't have as much culture as either Georgia, Armenia or even Azerbaijan.

Socialism works best in industrialized nations, and we haven't finished industrialization until just before the first world war.
Not saying it doesn't work in non-industrialized nations and transform them into prosperous ones, just look at the USSR. It went from being a starved agrarian society into an industrialized one with science advanced enough to send a man to space and come back alive, all while experiencing the worst of the most destructive war in history.
Still, 1917 was the best time for a revolution in America.

I'm not the traveling type so can't say much about places outside hehe.Going to visit Easter Turkey this September though, want to see Nemrut and Van.
Good luck with your plans there, user, I hope you the best.

*wish

Germany probably had more chance of becoming socialist closer to the end of the war with all the Bavarian thing going on. Yet, I'm not sure how exactly it would have turned out for them in the long run.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy your trip to Turkey.

Yeah, Germany was a strong candidate for socialism post-WW1. Like, much stronger than late 19th-early 20th America.

Antarctica 25th century

The time of knights and shit in yurop.
I've only spent like 6 years training it now and I'm already 100x better at it than the average untrained nobody. I'd like to imagine if it was socially accepted at this time for me to be able to train this way without people going "lol weeb LARP" and how my life would've played out. Would I have been noticed by the local guard or mercenaries first? Would mom have sent me to military school because I had talent and was already challenging anyone who would have me in the streets every day?
In spite of all the other horrors of living during this time I think it would be the most fun.

>Thanks! Hope you enjoy your trip to Turkey.

It was improperly.

I'd love to have been in America earlier in the 20th century. Something about everything from 1950-2000 just really appeals to me, about how everyone acted, how all the media was just different and unique, and just how much society as a whole progressed at such a breakneck pace during that time.

Well, I also felt it doesn't sound that good, but the Armenian guy mentioned it first, so I guess he is alright with it.
Sounds nice, you must really like Don Quixote. Although, those times weren't probably the safest to live in.

Never heard of him. The name seemed familiar so I looked it up but nah nothing.
Who dat?
>probably weren't the safest
Oh I know. The ravages of disease would be everywhere and there would be no guarantee I'd live to be 30 but man I would literally get off everyday on having these niggas bout with me like guards and knights and shit. I'll provide training weapons so nobody has to die but just having them teach me. King needs fighting men for his army? Nigga sign me right the fuck up. I've taken hits from steel weapons wearing full plate steel. Pussy bitches back then didn't know shit about stamina. Sometimes you have to rotate out of formation with those behind you to catch your breath.
I'd love it man you have no idea. After I became a master swordsman and get knighted and shit I'd retire nigga.
Then I'd put them punk kids in their place.

nah, I'm good
