>year
you mean 3pl8

I could bench 1pl8 when I was 15 just fucking around at my local YMCA

Good job, user. You made it.

Lot of things happened to you when you were 15 down the local YMCA, did they?

Hope this is bait

Anons, for some people it takes time. I'm not OP, but I've been lifting for 4 months and can still only bench a .5 pl8. I've never worked out in my life, and my lifestyle is all on the internet, so I was starting from 0.

Eat

I’ve been benching for 10 years and I’m only at 265lbs.
My brother in law went from benching the bar to 1pl8 in 16 weeks under my supervision

feel ya, i had a year to build up basic strength, my bench is still my worst lift

I do, I've actually put on 13 LBS over the past 4 months, with most of it being lean.

>when kids don't go any push-ups at home before getting a gym membership
lmao.

I like this meme because it gets higher everytime

>I do (eat)
>13lbs
>4 months

If you're not benching at least 2plate by the end of your first year you fucked up.

Not everyone is as insecure as you
t. someone who trained at home for half a year before joining a gym

You can only gain about 2.5-3 LBS of muscle a month, to my knowledge. If I ate more, most of it would be converted to fat.

>chest day
>one year of lifting
>1pl8 bench
Checks out

user congrats, keep it up my dude. 2pl8 SOON

>lifting anything less than 3pl8 straight out of the womb
ngmi

Good on you user
Keep going
We're all going to make it
