Not opposed to the idea honestly but I'm 200lbs at 5'10, I need to be more leaner and flexible but I won't say no

Look for a HEMA club. Through HEMA I've done horseriding, archery and fencing from horseback just from all the people I meet because clubs socialise by necessity to compete.
I made new friends to martial arts. Pick a non fake one and try out multiple clubs to see if you click.

Patrician suggestion, Games Workshops always look cosy I don't really have the money for it though
Will look for this, fencing slipped my mind also. I'm quite slow and methodical so learning how to be quick and deliberate/controlled aggressiveness would be nice
I used to do BJJ here, and I will start again at the new town. They also do wrestling which will be cool

Slow and controlled is actually good for fencing. Quick people come to you.

HEMA anons, where did you buy your favorite swords?
That's a castle? I guess it'd do for fortifications in a pinch, but I'd be hesitant to call it a soldier outpost.

things that involve competition both in state and out of state. But this thread isn't about me. Its about your inability to get over some random kid on the internet calling you boring for some odd reason
John Mitchell
What's with the passive aggressive faggotry?
Evan Brown
>still caught up on being called boring you must actually be extremely self conscious of this fact
