It's always the same shit. I'm motivated for a couple of days only, I procrastinate the workout until the day ends, and if somehow I manage to crawl towards the gym I always half ass everything and leave in 30 minutes.

I'm the most lazy, lethargic, undisciplined human being I know, but I *need* to workout because my looks, health and mental health are all going to shit with my current lifestyle.

Wtf is wrong with me bros? Is there a technique to help fucking retards like me?

It's because you haven't found a reason to lift yet. Once you find it, you'll never have a problem working out again. Gotta make those mental/spiritual gains before you become disiplined.

Consistent exercise with progressive overload takes discipline. Lifting isn't the be all end all. You may be too mentally fucked for it, you have to go really light starting off or perhaps even better, deal with the demons holding you back in other areas of your life first.

Get a dip/pullup bar combo. When you get better you can do them weighted, you can get some dumbells.

You're not a retard, you just rely on the wrong system. You're waiting for motivation (i.e. feeling like working out) when you should be using discipline instead (i.e. who gives a shit what you feel like, this is an immovable object in your calendar and you're gonna suffer through it because you have to).

Just treat it as punishment for something you did, tell yourself if you don't go 3 times a week you'll be thrown in jail. Get used to doing things you don't enjoy doing 'cause that's fucking life. Teach yourself discipline and in time you'll aquire taste for workout and start enjoying it too.

Obsess over your gains. Look at the pump you get after a workout, that's what you're going to be in a few weeks. Chase the pump. You'll make it to where your pump WAS, but you'll never be as big as your pump.

Or get addicted to pre workout. Worked for me. Then I started chasing the pump. After chasing the pump, compliments will start coming in, you'll feel better. Women will come too. It'll be the best feeling when women start asking to feel your arms and when you're fucking them they grab your biceps or drag their hand across your abs.

You need to find a reason to want to lift. Those are basically just mine man.

The real and only reasons to work out are at face value: it’s fun to see progress and take your mind off of anything else than lifting, you’re doing something beneficial for your health, body and mind, you’re getting a litte stronger and more ripped each time, you leave your basement to at least be amongst other humans, you’re doing something productive that gets you ahead instead of wasting time, it’s a hobby that makes you at least slightly more interesting, it teaches you discipline, if you’re a NEET you have something to focus on, you have something to talk about with others you meet who work out too, you feel better afterwards and so on and so forth...
Downsides? NONE.

If all that isn’t enough reason for you, you’re a hopeless case. I think everyone who doesn’t work out is a fucking retard. Because, honestly, why wouldn’t you?

Start small. You have to build a foundation. I'm guessing you're going all out right from the get-go. Start with a simple bodyweight routine, stick with it, and before you know it, you'll be shitposting with the best of them in between sets on the regular.

You haven't hit rock bottom yet. You may need to reach this before you have a change of attitude.
Also consider if the gym is the right form of exercise for you. If you find it boring, consider an alternative form of physical activity that you actually look forward to doing. Climbing comes to mind.

You might want to hire a personal trainer or find a friend who will kick your ass every day. Or you could join the military.

Next time you feel like you're bored playing Vidya/tv/or whatever the fuck else it is you're wasting time with, just get out of the chair, and do bodyweight routines at home.

If you can't quit the Vidya, each time you die in game do sit ups or push ups. This is what I've been doing and it's helped clear my head.
