I also started other stretches like box splits and the one where you push your knees down and lean forward. Flexibility is a key part of being fit for functionality

I have no reason to do the splits. It might be good for kicking people in the head, but I don't get many opportunities for that, either.
I care about flexibility but being able to do a split are unnatural for a man
