Welcome to /nat/ a thread to talk about natural bodybuilding and a place to find inspiration from bodies that are natural/natural-looking and aesthetic. This is not a thread about nat vs fraud just mostly a place to post natural body goals.
>What if you think that its pointless to bodybuild without drugs? Exellent, you have an opinion. This thread is for people who don't have that opinion.
>But you can't have a good physique without drugs! Another excellent opinion! Everyone has different beauty standards and aesthetics. If your standard of aesthetics crosses the natty limit then that's your aesthetics! There are lots of people who thoroughly enjoy and admire natural bodybuilding aesthetics. This thread is geared towards those aesthetics.
>There's nothing wrong with doing steroids though! There's no crusade here fren. You get to do with your body as you please. Do your research and listen to your body though if you decide to go to that path!
>All of those guys are on gear though. It's true you cannot 100% verify any modern man to not be on steroids however by looking at past bodybuilders before widespread drug use we can see what was achievable. You can argue further that due to better scientific, diet and programming knowledge of present bodybuilding, people can surpass the feats of the past!
>Should we post bodies that look natural even if they aren't or might not be? Of course thats fine! we need modern examples to be inspired by as well even though we cant guarantee they're not on gear. It's good to have realistic goals that aren't obviously enhanced.
If you need steroids to get big you're pretty pathetic
Jonathan Anderson
There's no way these guys aren't on something.
Jaxon Ortiz
this is what a skilled photographer can do when their subject has been working out for many years. Also, definition doesn't equal size. A lot of these dudes might not look all that impressive clothed or around other people, but their physiques are admirable in and of themselves. Bodybuilding really isn't about "le epic mog" unless you're at a pool party or on high doses of steroids.
Henry Scott
Dude Steve Reeves is posted in this thread multiple times and he 100% wasnt natty
Grayson Ramirez
They were on effort. Stop being an skepticall pussy so much.
Brandon Brooks
I'd rather aspire to look like these guys and come pretty close without gear vs lifting and chasing impossible standards, modern day physique and classic competitors look like shit
That's one guy, yes. By no means do I think that every one of these guys is fully natty, but as someone who has been working out for 6 years, I can say that a genetically gifted natural could see very similar results to those pictured here. Most of these guys look as good as they do do to powerful V tapers, which can only be "made" to a certain extent through effort.
Leo Brown
Very inspiring
These guys look so badass and like dripping testosterone no homo.
Obviously modern guys are bigger but they often look gay/weak of you know what I mean. Like all artificial. These guys look like Hellenic semi divine beings
Thomas Rivera
lol ur all gay
Wyatt Howard
Welcome to Jow Forums faggot

Gayest thread on Jow Forums right now. Step back and think about that for a second.
Carson Cruz
The usual 40s and 50s routine was fullbody 3 days a week usually consisting of squat, bench, ohp, rows, curls, and pullovers.
Others like steve reeves used up to 15-20 excercises per workout.
Older natts pre 30s usually did dumbell and kettlebell basics.
Not much to say about thier diets. They ate around maintenance and focused on whole foods usually eating more eggs and steak than the average 20th century person
Wyatt Young
This thread is absolutely based, please let this continue in the future OP
Jaxson Watson
Thanks man will be doing this thread for the next few days but im hoping that other anons will continue the thread and bear the torch :)
Sebastian Edwards
not sure who that is. just wanted a nice positive thread for a change on fit
Colton Clark
read jamie lewis blog. plenty of info about these guys and the older strongmen. >not posting the GOAT hackenschmidt
Robert Edwards
>The usual 40s and 50s routine was fullbody 3 days a week yeah for average people. These guys trained like maniacs and 5 or 6 days a week. For example, Paul Anderson, deadlifted heavy every single day. They ate as you said plenty of eggs, steak and milk, but in enormous quantities. Most of them also drank lots of liquor
any of u fags wanna see my natty body and stats. ive been working out consistently for 6 years now. yes I have a higher bodyfat, bloatmax baby (in reality im likr 17% bf)
okay fren idk why I cant find a super recent pic but im ~240 lbs now. in this pic im 216 (not flexing btw), this was almost a year ago now. I reached my goal weight of 200 lbs about 2 years ago (im a manlet and i was a sticc) now im at my goal body. i have fit to thank for that. zyzz and rich piana rip my bros. anyways, i dont really go heavy anymore so ill list my best. i also never 1rep max >deadlift 3x5 490lbs >squat 3x8 405 lbs (discontinued heavy squats cuz of unrelated knee injury) >leg press 3x8 1300 lbs >sitting ohp (on the free weight machine, dont do bar ohp because shoulder injury) 3x8 320 lbs >bench (weakest lift from shoulder injury) 3x6 290 lbs but imo aesthetics>str
Hey OP, when you post pics like these that don't already have a date on them from the magazine, could you provide the ballpark of the decade?
Eli Jones
nigger i look great, jesus. i look huge af, im still cut for my weight. everyone else in this thread is roided out, im 1000% natty
Julian Ortiz
>cut for weight >Weight is fat
Gavin Cruz
Whats the roadmap for a body like this? >I've been running SS for ~4 months, current lifts (all 5x5) OHP: 85lbs Bench: 150lbs Squat: 220lbs Deadlift: 230lbs Thinking of switching to PHUL for 9-12 months then doing a brosplit. Strength gains havent stalled but 5x5 and squatting 3 times a day is exhausting + I want to focus more on aesthetics
you won't look as good as Steve Reeves even on gear
Chase Hill
what did you mean by this? im just saying I personally velieve i look aesthetic. reached my goal body and blended the perfect mix of strong nd aesthetic
Kayden Cook
Thats fine but I want to emulate his proportions to the best of my abilities
train for v taper with emphasis on back and shoulders
Jack Wilson
About 20 years of consistent diet and lifting. Keep going though user. Obviously swap to PPLPPL for aesthetics and I would suggest an OMAD diet with plenty of eggs, unprocessed meat and dairy.
I am only 2 and a half years in and am still seeing steady progress in lifts and appearance.
I've heard I wont get as strong on a PPL and those workouts will turn me into a 'pump chaser' which is why I thought PHUL would be a good inbetween. I did a PPL when I first started and got nowhere. Should I continue with the SL strength gains or change over now?
Easton Williams
I'm sorry I don't have pictures to contribute but I am loving this thread
Ethan Richardson
think you look strong and healthy user. personally tho could cut a lil more bnut hey if you like your body thats great and most important desu
Logan Baker

Dylan Morales

Wyatt Hill
Damn, I kinda look like you, except I'm fatter
Anthony Murphy
Bro you look fat. And you said that's an old pic and you're 24lbs fatter now. I bet you're obese for your height at this point.
Bentley Rogers
