Gaining weight?

Why am I seemingly gaining weight or not losing weight?

>about 3 years ago I go on a diet and lost 95 pounds
>counted calories and eventually got into macro counting
>maintained a 205-210 weight for about 2 years
>a year or so ago I slack off
>still continue to eat healthy overall, just more shitty meals a week
>weight creeps up to 230
>decide to get back into shape
>calculated the correct calories/macros to go on a cut
>lost down to 222 from 232 in 6 weeks
>last week (about 2 days after I hit 222) my weight slowly started creeping back up
>past week my weight has ranged around 224-226 every morning
>still autistically counting my macros so I know I am not over eating

What is casing this? I still lift weights 2 days a week and still run a 15 miles a week so nothing in my workout routine has changed. Or am I just freaking out over normal body fluctuations?

Tl;dr at all haha

You’re eating too much fatty

you have to measure weight at the beginning of the week not day to day.
maybe you need to up the routine, or there are foods or factors you havent thought of yet.

Nothing I havent thought of, I have just recently increased my mileage per week. Also I do not count any calories burnt running towards my daily expenditure. I am currently eating 1750 calories a day, and even on days I go over I still never eat over 2000 calories a day.

Eat more

What's your height? You still might be overeating

6'2

I'd increase your deficit with your calorie counting.
Either your metabolism is medically fucked or you are drinking your calories and not measuring what you eat.

>>still continue to eat healthy overall, just more shitty meals a week
you fucking retarded fat asshole, YOU ARE OVEREATING YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL STOP FUKCING EATING TO MUCH
FUCK

I measure everything I eat, and I only drink water. I havent drank anything besides water in 5 years.

My wife thinks I fucked my metabolism when I went on that crash diet and lost the 95 pounds the first time. at one point I was down to eating 1200 calories a day and working out 6 days a week and still only loosing around .2 pounds a week (by that point I was down to 205ish).

>he didnt read all of the OP

I fucking hate people like you so much

Decrease what you're eating calorie wise. Stay away from sugar and processed food. Stop with eating out and fast food. Good for sticking with just water. Just keep watching literally everything you eat. If you aren't weighing your food then you need to.

Is it even possible for people to "crash" their metabolism?

Eh it extreme cases I think. You have to serverly lose and gain weight a fuck ton over a short period of time. Like think Christian Bale for all his films. Even then I'm not sure. Im not a doctor kek
Just eat less and run more. Easy cutting

water retension
go run loser

I don't think its water retention. If anything I need to drink more water. Some days I will only consume 40 ounces of water. When I get done running and piss, it will be orange. Most days I get closer to 60-80 ounces. Which still probably isnt enough considering I am running 4 miles outside in 90 degree heat.

Metabolism slows as you get older, not only that , but a persistent deficit will slowdown your metabolism as well.

this is a lie

Drink at least 120 ounces a day

try Cold Thermogenesis its the only way i have ever lost body fat
