Gym by itself is not making me happy anymore. What other activities, hobbies or copes should I complement the gymcel life with?

get a gf

WoW Classic just came out

im a hunter and i cant fucking kite anything without being followed by 10 other enemies i argo'd

Reading is good, going /out/ is good too.

im waiting for a fucking gm to reply to my ticket, fuck man. these guys are almost as bad as jannies

cold showers
reading
meditating
walks/bike rides (with podcasts/audiobooks if you're bored)

Riflery/marksmanship

i started painting warhammer fantasy models. gym is still prio.
although vidya is alternative i just get bored playing after 5min

Cold showers are not a hobby friend

neither is lifting

Hunting

Duck Hunting is tons of fun
Beaver trapping is pretty cool
Obviously deer/coyote

Then you can get into ice fishing and just regular old fishing. Get one of those pedal kayaks and throw lines off the back

Hunting and fishing is the best and you will only interact with other actual men

Every time I go to the gym I coom.

Heard nofap is a good hobby nowadays
But fapping the whole day is as good too
Put in some meth in the mix if you're going to be a coommer

Socializing.

Playing with girls their feelings always keeps me entertained. They think its love haha.

Follow some online courses that can help you with understanding the principles behind lifting (i.e. uni level human physiology).

Martial arts
Walking or hiking
Learn to play some chess, there are many online apps for it

Reading, YouTube, hiking, climbing, coding, role playing games (but those generally require friends), writing, film, smithing, designing 3D models to 3D print.

I do bouldering some weekends and guitar/drums
No gf though so loads of free time

I just can't

Primarily masturbation

Get into Warhammer or something, IDK

I just bought some dumbells to start a homegym and get my siblings into lifting a little. That got me to stop being so unmotivated and sad.
If that is not an option for you then how about cycling?

This but instead of online courses just p*rate a bunch of books off the dark web or loan some related books from the library. That’s all I did to learn Mandarin Chinese ez pz

I started doing bouldering and it gives me the same sort of happy feeling I had when I started weight lifting

user, why did you start lifting to begin with? I can't find the picture, I believe it was an user from /lit/ who posted it, of a passage in a book written by a Greek. The passage had to do with why one should train and become strong, that one shouldn't do it for vanity but because of the good that being strong (and beautiful) was for one's whole being. Building your whole life on this one lone aspect is empty, meaningless, you need pulls from many other directions as well, many other interests. Start with the Greeks, OP, and start cultivating your mind in the same fashion you've been sculpting your body.

Reading the classics really helps me cope with the world we live in.
Try reading Tolstoy. It challenges your imagination while also makes you feel emotions

try a bunch of /out/ sports, interacting with nature as part of a physical activity is great and makes you feel alive. Depending of where you live you should have different options.

rock climbing (not gym climbing)
kayaking / rafting
mountain biking
mountaineering (entry level is basically hiking with elevation)
trail running for cardio
skiing/snowboarding when in season
surfing

the choice is yours

Prepare for the war.

Have you considered accepting jesus into your life user?

How do I into chess, bro?
Some dudes told me to just play a lot and others told me to learn some of those meme latterns

Get a fucking life, or at least some other hobbies besides moving pieces of metal around.
The gym is great but its not meant to be the only thing in your life. How do some of you guys expect to be happy or well rounded people if that's literally all you do?

>How do I into chess, bro?
Are you a twat enough?

im not great at it but when i was trying to get into it i would watch agadmator on youtube a lot. he's really good at explaining openings, sacrifices, etc. and he'll occasionally pause to let you figure out the next best move. just watch some important matches with bobby fischer or magnus carlsen and try to apply what you learned on chess.com

Thank you, I'll watch those

Get a job with young people, climbing or martial arts, go to college or trade school. Keep lifting and you are good

27 yo DYEL here, I just started SS and I'm doing it until January, then I'm probably taking up judo. I figure it's a good way to have fun with other people, lower my fear of conflict and keep having a Jow Forums lifestyle.

Lichess is a good app for playing. Just accept you will lose a ton of games at first by making super dumb mistakes and throwing away pieces. Once you stop doing that, looking up openings and a bit of theory should come naturally. I also like KingsCrusher's youtube vids analyzing games
