Build your base strenght in gym with bumper plates where you can drop the weight even from ohp hight if NEEDED
A strong front squat WILL help with a stronger OHP, also when going high in ohp in such a gym you wont fear accidant or injury because you cant drop the weight

Heres the thing mate, if you train with bumpers it means you can drop the weight on the floor when failing a pr or when fatigued. This leads to better chances of you going heavy without fearing anything bad that might happen with iron plates in a gym where you cant drop the weight or make loud noise
