How did things get so bad that now even the homeless are super morbidly obese?
How did things get so bad that now even the homeless are super morbidly obese?
dollar large drinks at McDonald's
this is the UK
shut up trumper
Funny how capitalism, even cucked by wasteful welfare systems, can still have people obese homeless people
Lmao almost all the comments are about one thing
amorphous blob
You do realize you can be both overweight and malnourished, right?
If she had access to enough calories to end up looking like that, she could have afforded to take the quantity down a notch in favour of the quality. No excuses.
>super calorie dense processed food is the cheapest
>nutritional education is nil
People buy homeless people shit food all the time. On top of that in the UK you can get a loaf of white bread for a dollar
Food and alcohol are two of the biggest crutches for people in shit situations
Salad at sweetgreen = 12$
McDonald’s dollar menu meal with thousands of calories that will probably make them feel more full = $1-5
Simple healthy meals of beans, salad, etc. that you can buy for relatively cheap at the grocery store still require preparation space, food storage, and utensils/food prep tools
Fast food is basically your only option
amazing isnt it. What a wonderful system.
1kg of oats is like 2 dollars. A head of lettuce is 2$. Milk is 1$. Anyone who says they cant afford to eat healthy mean they cant eat food not specially prepared for them by a restaurant/fast food joint.
The fuck is a homeless person going to do with a kilo of oats and a head of lettuce?
>oats
>helathy
lol
it's cheap, but it's not free
you'd still have to eat big amounts of it if it's the only thing you eat, even ramen and shitty sausages and stuff like that rarely go much higher than 300kcal per 100g
If she's homeless there is a very VERY good chance she got raped at some point and sometimes people deal with that by stacking on a shit ton of weight and being deliberately repulsive because romantic attention causes them mental pain.
Same thing with dykes. Same thing with SJWs.
Same thing with Boogie, probably.
>16oz bag frozen broccoli: $1
>fork and glass bowl from dollar store: $2
>using 7/11 microwave: free
For an initial investment of $2, you can eat AN ENTIRE POUND of broccoli for a dollar.
>Carton of oats: $2
>water from literally anywhere (optional; eating dry oats still works, call it raw granola or some shit)
>7/11 Microwave
Boom, 30+ servings of 150cal oats at your nicotine-stained, stubby homeless fingertips for the price of a tallboy of Bud Ice
>1lb of any in-season vegetable: Sub-$2
Eat that shit rawr.
Carrots? Fuck yeah, BugsBunny-style.
Celery? Godtier hobo-cooms.
Turnips? Nigga fuck me up with some turnips.
You know what's really fuckin cool, but also awful? My local dunkin has two dozen donuts for only $13. If I were homeless, I guarantee I could get at least $13 a day. That means that I could eat 7200 calories worth of delicious boston creme donuts. At my height and age, that means I could reasonably be 1,007lbs with no exercise except standing at a stoplight and asking for money, for just thirteen dollars a day.
How do you store, prepare, and preserve oats, lettuce, and milk when you literally live outside? Where is this stovetop they’re going to use to cook oatmeal? How are they going to wash the lettuce to avoid getting rubella? How does she keep the milk from spoiling outside in probably California?
Eating and storing raw vegetables in unsanitary condition is not a great idea. I know several people (kids but like still) who legit died this way
And I mean like yeah there is definitely a smarter way to preserve your health if that is your main goal while living outside but it’s clearly not her goal and people who have the untelligence and mental stability to do so tend not to end up homeless
>frozen broccoli
>raw vegetables in unsanitary condition
5000niggawats.wav
>buy at store
>wash literally wherever
>immediately consume
>like two dollars
yeh sorry i forget americas fucked.
Our lettuce doesnt have rubella and homeless people have easy acess to hot water/stoves and even accomodation assuming they arent a violent junky who frankly i have no pity for anyway
>How do you store, prepare, and preserve oats
like super easily. You could literally use a plastic bag
Why are you defending the homeless lady who can afford what must be a minimum of 10 big macs a day
i don't disagree but she is clearly stupid and from a poor background, so there is also a chance that her parents are just also poor and stupid and they kicked her out because they can't afford to keep her and they play the system because they know a young woman is getting a flat on the bennies system.
>3-5 dollars is supposed to be a cheap meal at mcd's
>one dollar menu item at mcd's with more than 500kcals
>you cant make a basic filling meal with bought groceries for 2 dollars or less
