is bulking on carnivore even possible? Let me be very clear I AM DOING THIS FOR MEDICAL REASONS not for the meme diet. I have an autoimmune disease and want to eliminate everything but meat and fish for a while. However I am already pretty skinny and need to at least maintain my current weight but hopefully gain some, but it seems like every carnivore is some fat ass trying to lose weight.

If you eat enough you can bulk with anything

Attached: 2764018578_251581e8a5_b.jpg (1024x681, 221K)

Congrats and falling for a meme, the only thing more pathetic than a fad

Just eat more meat then. What's the problem?

tigers are just objectively the best animal

Attached: 1505251330046.jpg (570x593, 53K)

Does raw unfiltered honey mess you up? It's technically carnivore. That and milk have some sugars to help you bulk

i was on doing research on r*ddit and there are a ton of carnivores eating 6000cal of meat a day claiming they lost all their strength and gains

Look at those teeth bros. God, tigers are so cool. We can’t let them go extinct.

>i am doing carnivore FOR MEDICAL REASONS
kek

i have EoE and dairy is one of the first things they pull out of your diet so I'd have to eat all meat, i could eat honey but im not sure bulking on that everyday is a good idea

Fucking chinks and Pajeet
Even the Russians don’t care
Only Texas can save them now

fuck off i already pulled dairy, soi, wheat, and eggs out of my diet cuz the doc said so and my disease got worse so i feel like trying this meme diet is justified to save my esophagus

Damn right borther!

Don't get your calories from that alone, just eat some pre-workout for performance

I tried a keto diet for 60 days also for medical reasons (agressive fibromathosis) aka cancer and althoug it made me feel great and my pain completely dissapeared it was unsustainable (because I wasnt eating enough, surprise surprise).

If you give me an hour to get back home I can type you out a good reply explaining the ins and outs, godspeed user.

About 18 months ago I started a keto diet for medical reasons. Since then I've been able to stop all of my medication, gain weight and I've been well enough to lift. For the first time as an adult I'm not a underweight skelly. I now have the energy and motivation to live rather than just sitting around waiting to die. To maintain or gain weight make sure that you are eating plenty of fatty meat.

Here's a few suggestions
Steak
Belly Pork
Lamb chops
Duck

If you're doing this for autoimmune disease remember to cut out vegetable oils and use animal fat for cooking.

Attached: serveimage (12).jpg (512x340, 150K)

thank you user
Nice! Think I'll be buying a lot of cheap fatty cuts and ground meat, I have no idea how people afford 4lbs of Ribeye a day.

try it for yourself then

If you think your body doesn't want vegetables, you're wrong. I don't care what your doc says, or what you think. Just eat a fuck ton of meat and veggies. Riced cauliflower is really filling, spinach, etc

What autoimmune disease and what tests have you done? We're basically all MDs on Jow Forums

Only people on carnivore that I know of who have consistently claimed to be able to bulk did so by eating pic related.

Problem is you have to be a memelord who believes saturated fat is not bad for you.

bulking is a meme for people running gear and subsisting on carbohydrates.
listen to HPO podcasts, Baker and Bitter.
the only thing you need to stimulate muscle growth, after training, is leucine and the amount of insulin generated from protein in meat.

Attached: 1550328192163.jpg (1200x916, 275K)

yeah this happens, even Shawn Baker admits his performance took a hit at first, once body learned how to utilize ketones properly his performance was improved from when he was a sugar burner.

> I know more than everyone who's ever lifted because a podcast told me so

Do us all a favor and shut the fuck up you sycophant

>Problem is you have to be a memelord who believes saturated fat is not bad for you.
>Contrary to popular belief, consuming a higher amount of fat (about 35 per cent of energy) is associated with a lower risk of death compared to lower intakes. However, a diet high in carbohydrates (of more than 60 per cent of energy) is related to higher mortality, although not with the risk of cardiovascular disease.
>The research on dietary fats found that they are not associated with major cardiovascular disease, but higher fat consumption was associated with lower mortality; this was seen for all major types of fats (saturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and mono unsaturated fats), with saturated fats being associated with lower stroke risk. The researchers point out that, while this may appear surprising to some, these new results are consistent with several observational studies and randomized controlled trials conducted in Western countries during the last two decades.
>The large new study, when viewed in the context of most previous studies, questions the conventional beliefs about dietary fats and clinical outcomes, says Mahshid Dehghan, the lead author for the study and an investigator at PHRI.

Humans are omnivores doe

this needs so many goddamn sources it might as well have been posted on facebook

I just started this diet for autoimmune reasons (ulcerative colitis) so far the results are amazing and I’m saying rapid improvement in the way I feel every day

No

>I get fat and then lose all my muscle mass to get skinny again because I'm smart

He spams these blogs and images daily (has done for years now).

He's admitted english isn't his first language and he doesn't understand studies or evidence tiers (once asked what an RCT is). Also has never posted body.

Yeah, you can gain weight, you just need to eat enough which can be tough at first. Check out meatheals.com for some other peoples experiences. I put on about 10lbs of muscle in the last 6 months, but I also eat eggs and dairy which can cause inflammation for some. You can easily maintain weight, though. Most of the fatties are paying weight, because it is much harder to eat 5000 calories of steak than 5000 calories of chips and cookies and soda pop.

It's not a meme diet. It is actually an easy way to eat, and my life has improved since starting it. It takes a little getting used to, but nothing too crazy. Some people are just too fucking concerned about what the "experts" think, even when those so called experts have a clear agenda and have repeatedly been caught massaging and inflating data to fit their narrative.

What are the symptoms of "inflammation"? Everybody mentions it but nobody elaborates on it

I recommend you cut plant based oils since your problem is explicitly inflamatory.

The least inflammatory of plant oils is coconut oil because its a saturated fat lower in omega 6, same with olive oil, though arguable as a health food.

SÖy and sunflower oil have a very high linoleic acid which is very prone to oxidization and inflammation. Eating this crap over a long term from plant sources will change the fatty acid ratios of your own fatty stores which will make you more susceptible to oxidative stressors.

Even that quack Dr. Gregor has said as much, vegans have a ratio almost 3-4x of linoleic acid stored in their bodies compared with meat eaters.

journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0132672

however be aware than people typically experience a metabolic boost in in resting energy expenditure when kicking carbs, so you are gonna need to eat eat eat, especially since you are not eating eggs nor milk, 2 of the easier sources of bulking.

>Men’s Fitness: You’ve said that you originally switched your diet because of health problems. What were they?
>Zach Bitter: In high school and college, I had a whole-food type of approach to nutrition, like a lot of endurance athletes do. At that time, most of the research you’d find was based in a high-carbohydrate diet, so I skewed my nutrition that way. My diet was clean, but probably 60% carbs. Then, in 2010, I started participating in ultra-endurance events and noticed that things weren’t ideal—not being able to sleep consistently through the night, having big energy swings during the day, chronic inflammation in my ankles, things like that.

Attached: 1567532548588.jpg (580x463, 51K)

Not everyone has symptoms, but it can be measured with blood work. One thing I specifically noticed was chronic tendonitis in my elbow improved dramatically. I think the biggest improvement with most is bowel inflammation, especially coming from a vegan, grain heavy diet. When you stop shitting your brains out every day, you quality of life drastically increases. Others have reversed hashimoto disease and seemingly recovered from MS. But, yeah. Like with any diet intervention, you will have crazy adherents that claim it does everything from making your eyes turn blue to reversing male pattern baldness. You have to take everything with a grain of salt and find out if there is actually a mechanism that would allow such improvements.

reminder that blog spammers are astro-turfing shitposters.

>He's admitted english isn't his first language
No it haven't
>and he doesn't understand studies or evidence tiers (once asked what an RCT is).
I do just fine.
> Also has never posted body.
I've admitted I have
The only thing you three prove yourselves to understand are lies, slander and sensationalism

Not the guy you're responding to and I'm also a carni believer.
Why do you do what you do? You're in almost every Thread. You're the also most likely the vegans are malnurished poster too.

the disease I have (eoe) has very few symptoms the only way i got diagnosed was because I kept getting food impacted after years of inflammation but now i have 0 symptoms due to the medication they give me despite the disease actually getting worse (they track the progress through Endoscopies)
my diet is already very low in vegetable oils due to taking out basedbean oil. but i could def cut out the olive oil from my sardines and check if there are any others in my diet
i have no anti vege agenda you retard it's just that i have an autoimmune disease and have already been diagnosed as allergic to quite a few fruits and veges (and even pork) so i think im just gonna go on an all beef, poultry, and fish diet til i can figure out what im eating that's causing issues.

Based

>I do just fine.
If that were the case you wouldn't spam blogs.

He also spams the same posts on r*ddit

Probably some sort of autism

Attached: Raisetsu.jpg (1208x1422, 504K)

olive oil is fine user, even the fatty acim comp chart shows it at having same linoleic acid % as lard.

>honey
>that and milk have some sugars to help you bulk
what part of CARNIVORE didn't you FUCKING NIGGER

really it's zerocarb, so meat cheese eggs are all ok. but everybody keeps calling it carnivore.

I dont get it, you can count your calories on carnivore/keto too? So why can you bulk on it if you make sure you eat at a surplus

I guess eating raw grass fed beef suet (inteatine fat) as a big pillar of your diet would cut some costs and cooking time and with a very high calorie per 100 gram it can bulk you up real good. Im thinking of starting with it along with eating organ meat. youtu.be/tn8Q--voLzc

What a chonker
Animal products are carnivore you double nigger

Add liver, bro

literally all these carnivore dudes on youtube are quitting and binging on carbs lmao, really makes you think

just drink the chocolate milk you retards

do you know what "carn" in carnivore means retard?

drink oil

theres already fat in your food, just add coconut and olive oil TO EVERYTHING

?
show me one

bobby's perspective
carneval
literally some of the most mentally ill diet obsessed carnivore retards talking trash about carbs but then proceed to introduce them on their diet

look it up if you don't believe me
bobby's started eating rice and potatos and carneval started drinking milk and eating honey because they want to make muscle gains and openly admit that they feel weak and need the extra carbs.

even baker is backing down from his carnivore diet and now includes fruit and claims it's ok to eat fruit on a carnivore diet LMAO, what an absolute fucking joke, you have these retards shilling for an unrealistic fucking diet and claim it is OPTIMAL for everything while at the same time being unable to reach optimal levels of fitness on their own preached fucking optimal diet, just like vegans.

I mean from a ancestral diet perspecitve doesnt it make sense to consume some small amounts of carbs from natural sources like berries and honey since it would have been available during the summer?
that doesnt mean its good to replace a large part of our daily diets with carbs tho

It makes sense to eat larger amounts because they're tasty and anabolic for humans.

Baker hasn't done any of that, you're just flinging shit.

stupidest most ignorant-of-reality thing i've ever seen on this board

Is this keto?

Are eggs flesh? Is blood and bone marrow? You do realise the name doesn't have to be literal, right?

we are the best animal, they come close

Post body

somebody put sad cat face on this one.
