Will chin ups do anything for the my back?
Will chin ups do anything for the my back?
yes
Yes if you can do them and do them correctly. If you can do more than 10 reps in a set then get a dip/pull up belt and start adding weight (weighted pull ups and chin ups)
>will an arm exercise do anything for my back
read the sticky
please be bait
>retards still think chin ups do any signifigant bicep work
>chin up
>arm exercise

God damn, how can you both be so retarded while being on opposite ends of this argument?
Imagine being this retarded.
they're explaining the main difference between the two lifts, it still literally says its assisted by biceps
by your logic, that pic also verifies that you'll build pecs from doing chinups
also, its a fucking wikipedia article
i'll challenge anyone to try doing only chinups and no bicep isolation and see what happens
>inb4 that pic of that tripfag who is always and solely supposed to be proof of chinups building biceps
I built a very wide back almost exclusively with high volume chinups
As in supernated, then yes they are supposed to work traps and rear delts.
What i find to really work upper back is wide pullups but when rising up, keep the bar behind your head.
You're wasting your time with pullups if you aren't properly depressing and retracting your scapula during the entire set
Based and correct
>Supernated
One of the most retard-filled threads I've seen in a while.
Just look at anyone that does calisthenics only lmao
>imagine thinking "the back" is one muscle
top bantz
Yes, they both involve some back muscles, but different ones.So they'll do something, but you should aim to be doing both.
Progress toward pull ups using exercises like inverse rows, look up on youtube, plenty of videos about that.
